Checked fluids again on the new JT and removed a bunch of brake fluid.
When I first checked it last week, it was clear up into where the cap sits.

I drew out enough to at least get it down to the maximum line.
I guess the huge syringe is out of focus - oh, well, you get the idea. Pulled out a lot of fluid.

I sent my sales guy an email letting him know I'm missing that camera/radar plastic cover for windshield down, that the brake fluid was way too full and that some other prep things were missed.
The brake fluid was so full it was impossible to tell where the level was even with a light shining through it. I pulled the cap and it dripped of fluid. Not good.

Right away he forwarded it to their general manager who is going to have a talk with their shop and prep area people.
He said I'm to come and see him Monday morning when I drop the truck off for the RSE power step install I worked into the deal.

Mounted a 37 on my extra rim to make sure it would balance. Tried to get a set of BFG AT KO2s to work but the first one called for 22 ounces. The Ridge grappler wanted less that 5. These things make the 35’s look small (I know bfgs are).

OK, that's messed up in so many ways. No telling what else is not right that you haven't found yet!

Those look better than the ones I've seen in the past. Any chance you could snap a picture directly from the side and maybe from the front quarter when you've got a chance?

Why the gasket? There are gaps and openings everywhere. Plus trapping mud and dirt back there.

At least you got your priorities straight. A new set of tires can wait since the cord is not showing yet. ;)

I always check fluids on new vehicles. Sometimes there's still a bit of air that burps out of the power steering or cooling system. Not often, but at times I've found things a bit lower after the first week.
However, this is the first time I've found the brake master cylinder clean up to the top or anything TOO full for that matter. Normally things are about right.
I'd have to go back and look at that big syringe as there are markings on it but I believe it was over 1.5, maybe about 2 ounces I pulled out. Again, I'd have to look as all I cared about was getting it down to the maximum level or a bit below.
The PS and cooling system are at perfect levels so I made my usual black mark to show the starting point as an easy way to track things over time.

What part of "MAX" did they not get 🤔

Oh, well, it's fixed now, it's why I check, and things move forward.

It's why I leave mine open - you should see what is trapped in these things even in the open and I tend to wash into the back side of the bumper when cleaning the truck.
The sand and silt I've seen when I've pulled the bumper off in the past.........

Thanks, dad.

Those are just rollers to fit it in the garage.
