Added Rock Krawler rear track bar bracket. Had to modified and cut 3/8" of material for it to fits, reemed out the hole and repainted. The quality of the powder coating is a joke, i can see bare metal everywhere and sands texture underneath the coating. They sprayed on hot and dirty. It came in a very nice foam padded box lol. It was probably checked and packed by Stevie Wonder.

She got fancy new shoes today and a smidge more aggressive treads. Still not too much oversized because I don't want to lift it and she still needs to tow my boat.

Trying on a new set of steps this weekend. Need to gain an inch or so in order for the wife to be more comfortable getting in. Hence the reason there's no lift in the future. Also, wasn't done today but last week; added a dashcam that also has wireless CarPlay. For $100 it wasn't a bad addition although I needed to use my own mount because what was included was not optimal.

Came with an additional back up camera so not sure if it will be used but not a bad option to have. Still some wiring to sort out.

Re-applied new Rock Stopperz to the hinges after having the corrosion work done. All hinges were replaced, doors and hood repainted.

I have bunch of odds and ends to do this weekend. Replace a missing air box screw, try a reverse drill bit kit to drill out a sheered off skid plate bolt and replace that bolt.

Replaced stock tie rod and drag link with RockJock currectlink today, due to noise when hitting bumps. It’s a lot of heavy, well built steel. Steering was very tight after install, showing just how crappy the stock stuff was… the rod ends on the stock felt like they were going to fail at any moment, drivers side was a little rattle and grindy when rotated, passenger side heavily in bind front to rear, and felt grindy side to side.

here is comparison between the two…

I found a small accessory on Amazon that I think is very useful. I have installed automatic straps in my jeep. I just received it and checked the packaging and product. The packaging is complete, and the product material is stiff and made of iron. The strap is in nylon style, making it very easy to tie together. When installing, I need to first remove my guide rail. It is assembled using a hole on the guide rail and a hole at the bottom, with a uniform force area, and a base at the bottom that looks very sturdy. It is amazing that straps have a yellow button that can help you tighten and loosen the strap when you press it.After installing the straps, I reinstalled my guide rail and used the Tie down system on the rail to work together with the straps to achieve its function. I hope to work on my next hunting trip.
