Looking at this, it's a '24 model or newer? That's been a miss with Jeep since the current body style came out in '18. I've looked at the idea of doing that, as it's just USB connections behind the center console. Looks sharp.
No, this is on my 22 JTR. I've got the Aux switches so these USB ports are wired to the ignition wire in the passenger footwell.

Oooh, hmm. Adding this to my project list. Parts list?

Here is the USB charger:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D66VC3C1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Got those because they didn't have lights, were low power (only deliver 24W max (not per port)) so that wouldn't come close to the 10A fuse on that ignition wire.

The USB A to USB C 90 degree adapters:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FXLWKSSM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
I'd suggest getting two of those, just in case. It comes with two adapters, one to the left, the other to the right. I ended up using two of the go to the right kind, just to make the cable layout easier. I could have made it work using the "wrong" adapter by rotating the USB charger 180 degrees, but the center stack was all put back together by then.

The 90 degree USB C to USB C adapters:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B1X14DZ3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Then if you are trying to do this with the BulletPoint Rubigrid dash mount, then these cables:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBSDR75V?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Have the straight USB C connector that is just thin enough that it can be forced through the slots in the Rubigrid. Though they seem to be out of the black version that I ordered. Thanks to @Minty JL for finding those.

Many thanks. Bookmarked this.
Here is the charging head:
https://www.quadlockcase.com/collections/shop-mounts/products/mag-wireless-charging-head
But you need to have their matching case for your phone for it to fit on the mount and work.
Here is the one for my iPhone SE:
https://www.quadlockcase.com/collec...pb24xIjoiUU1DLUlQU0UiLCJvcHRpb24yIjoibm9uZSJ9

Edit to add: Note that the charging head only works if plugged into a USB A port. It does not work if plugged into the USB C port. It ships with a USB A to USB C cable.

I've run into this behavior on other devices too, for example the little magnetic LED work lights and the Anker charger I have for them out in the garage.

I just doused it in Kroil. I’ll give it a few to work its magic. I slammed the pickle fork until it was all the way in and it didn’t budge. Boot was toast so not worried about messing anything there up. I may end up just trying to get the pitman arm itself off if the penetrant doesn’t work.

Edit: KROIL TO THE RESCUE!!!!! I’ll stand by all my earlier statements on that stuff. It’s like a magic potion that makes stuck things get unstuck. Like crayons on a sized bolt it works every time. That was going to be one of my next moves if it didn’t work. Kids would be unhappy with me stealing their crayons but needs must.
I used the fork style puller. My boot was also toast. It was the only thing that worked.

That looks like a comfy camp chair Dan.

Damn, I'm old...
My wife’s. She uses it when she keeps me company in the garage. For that reason, it’s not used often. :)

Getting closer. Got everything off and out of the bed that will interfere with the body shop taking it off. And got the damaged passenger rock slide step off. Pretty ugly stuff underneath.

It finally broke free. Synergy said the boots blow out because people put too much grease in an already high friction joint. They recommended at most 2 squirts but preferably 1. I did 2 because the only gun with grease in it for normal zerks was my mini Kobalt.

Glad you got it off. It wasn’t fun for me either.

Got the driver side rock slide step off. Took just under 3 hours. Had to cut a couple bolts, and broke one wrenching. Still more clean up and wiring to remove before it goes in tomorrow. At least now that I can see the damage clearly, I can see that it should be fixable for a good shop. Helps to have any kind of forward progress after a month of seeing it busted up.

Buttoned up my tie rod/drag link ends today and my sector shaft brace replacement showed up in the mail yesterday as well and that went on. Everything working as it should and steering feels pretty good. It ain’t driving a Lamborghini, but it’s better than it was. Took it for a spin and it didn’t fall apart so I must have gotten it mostly right. That spin happened to go by a Dairy Queen so I rewarded myself with a Blizzard. Just a medium, no need to go totally crazy.

Cracked the windshield. And it's growing. No stone chips or anything else along the crack.
