Just ordered the Sound Assassin full floor kit and a few extra pieces for the rear cab wall. Thanks to @Kindafearless for answering some questions that I had and thanks to @Hothead Headliners for getting back with me so quickly.

This was not on my short list to do but with the rear seats removed it is noticeably louder in the cab. I have to put the seats back in for a family trip soon so I figured now was the time to tackle this mod.

Used my N4x4 $100 gift card from the purchase of my Bestop Sunrider...
Re-upped on cleaning supplies (wax, applicators, microfiber towels, and brushes). I can't wait to use em on my dirty jeep.

I just contacted Bartact right now about custom Kryptec Typhon sun visors and armrest covers to match my upcoming Bartact seat covers. They said they are not taking custom orders right now because they fell short on sewers coming back to work. This might mean my seats i ordered early in the month will take more time. Oh well.

Super excited for whats to come.
I’ve finally locked in and settled what I want and need to do. This forum is absolutely no help in achieving that, because of how awesome and inspiring all the parts and bullds are!

So to lock in the “final” bits, i got some goodies coming.

Rugged Ridge Venator bumper
Smittybilt 9.5k winch
Winch accessories (shackles, block, tree savers)
Trigger 4 switch

Down the road, I really want to do the Centerforce clutch, and the Edelbrock Force supercharger. So I need to be good and start saving for those big ticket items.

Also, I didn’t pick up synthetic line winch, nor anything fancy. These are definitely things that I have very limited experience in use, and just a textbook knowledge, so theres quite literally thousands of dollars in potential spend on all those Jeep wheelin gear, so went in cheap (the harbor fright method of buying) and will quickly learn whats worth investing and buying right through use, and what the fluff is that’s expensive and collects dusts.

All in, I think I got a decent setup now to hit the trails (OvERlaNdIng) comfortable and confident, and enough gear to do it with the friends I got, who are getting started and have pretty mildly outfitted rigs. The second most capable rig is also a Rubicon Glad, and he isn’t too bitten by the mod bug yet. Also a JKU Rubi is joining as well. The rest are FJ40s, Tacomas, and a Ranger.

I generally am pretty mild mannered, but last summer having excitedly gathered friends to do runs, A trail leader was definitely called for, and to do so I gotta think of the situations and the resolutions to get us in the woods and back out safely. So in lieu of Alpine Audio upgrades, cool decal kits, bonkers lights and cool tube doors and clear freedom panels, I’m going in robust, and will learn more about whats needed and whats faff to have fun.

Also, still, really want that supercharger.

Come amazon deliver day, Project “Helldog” shall be born. Overlanding with attitude. ?

For the sun visor I can tell you these guys make a really good product that will match. Have had them in my cars (not the JT though) for around 6 years.

Just ordered a Tyger trifold tonneau cover. Couldn’t beat the price (even gave me a 5% off promo code) and the reviews on it all seem pretty positive. ???

I'll second the plug for the Gator. Good quality and price. Although as a Tennessee fan, I've been working on a way to remove the label :)
