I knew it, bunch of Boomers up in here. Explains why Gladiators are always driving 5 under and everyone complains about insurance prices. Apparently the Gladiator is the grandpa mobile of Jeep.

Are you SURE those are boomers? Most of us actually go over - some by a lot - unless you count the oldest of the old in this generation. I've been totally blind-sided by minivans buzzing by me when I'm doing 10 over - yeah, driven by people older than me. Apparently maybe they gotta pee or something and are in a hurry?
Check back on some of my posts. LOL - not all of us drive slow.
I do watch it now with that insurance program looking over my shoulder but I have figured out how it works and can do 9 over ok. (10 over is our right to speed law)

I'll grab photos of some of the drag racers at our meets each September - some 70s and older.
Don't count us out yet! 😁

Yeah, the money in California is very different from the money elsewhere. It’s worthless. If I wasn’t tied to the state career wise I’d be long gone in a hurry. I absolutely cannot stand this state but there aren’t many states that make this kind of income as easily as I do here. I mean, I can’t say easy, but I really feel like I’m overpaid for what I do here.
When I did what you do for a living, I couldn't believe they even paid me to do it. That wore off quickly LOL. Work your 31, retire to a red state that costs far less, and NEVER discuss your pension with guys who are working for less than your pension. LOL

I'm in the vanguard of Boomers, born in '47.

Content am I now to use the cruise control and drive at the limit.
Over six decades, I accumulated all the tickets I want.
I was a radar magnet.

I've taken defensive driving to dismiss a ticket so many times
that I have a PhD in it.
When I took comedy defensive driving
I told more jokes than the instructor.
I once appeared before a judge
and paid for two deferred adjudications at one time.

Take it easy, youngsters, and enjoy the ride.

LOL I can relate as the magistrate got to to the point he'd address me by name and ask what is it this time. Local trooper also knew me by name before he even asked to see my license. When an insurance agent calls you to talk about things...........
Blame the cars I had. They just scream to the LEOs - you know he was speeding.

Don’t worry, old man. Soon enough you’ll change your username to “puddlemaker.”

Keep on with the jokes until then.

Generation X - Class of 1986..... and no, I don't drive slow unless it's at night and I can't see shit because of my cataracts and floaters.

I always drive 10mph over the limit. I remember maybe 10-15 years ago.... I'd always drive 65mph (55mph limit) on the highways and I'd be blasting past everyone. Now?? Holy shit....I'll be doing 65-70mph and they're blasting past me!!! They must be going 80mph+ 😳

We both just now hit 70 (NOT MPH) and her Gladiator was a "toy for me" present. Of course she traded one toy for another since her trade-in was a black-on-black Mustang convertible.

For me it's somehow true. My highway speed with the Gladiator is usually between 65 and 75 mph.

Whereas, in former times with other cars I used to go arround 140 mph. So somehow the Gladiator is putting me in the grandfather mode ... ;)

Is that a challenge to die before 30? Don't tempt me.
