Color doesn't look as good on trucks (Gladiator included) as it does the Wrangler, the bed makes it awkward imo

For comparison look at the colors that were offered in the 70's and you could get interiors to match. If they could do it then, why can't they do it now? I love my punk'n glady and get many compliments on it. So why isn't it offered anymore?

A thousand times this. I want some more interior options for sure.

White for safety that's for sure. Our fleet vehicles are all white (now). When I started here ~15 years ago they were all silver. Before that some were yellow(!) and lots of the larger trucks still are.

School buses around here are still yellow. Taxis are a mix of blue/yellow/green if you can find them.

I like our city buses though. Imagine you gave a 4 year old a 24 pack of crayola crayons and said "have at it".

But you used to be able to paint your house any color you wanted, too - then people started bitching and flaking out over seeing something that they didn't like.
Today's people are generally boring.

Also keep in mind - did you LIVE through the 60s and 70s?
People back then saw colors where there were none.....................courtesy Timothy Leary..........
....and this was on your turntable -

yes I have seen red Gladiators before, looks 1000% better on Wrangler but glad you like yours! that's all that matters.
If I'm not mistaken, his is punkin.
That was my wife's next choice since there was no purple and snazzberry wasn't out there.

Same would apply, Punkn' would be my 1st choice in Wrangler but last in truck form. But that's why they make colors

Cheesy.

I remember the snipers that were shooting at cars.

Data shared that white cars were less apt to be targets.

I rented a car at that time, and requested WHITE, where the shooters were active.

Had a white F-250 Two Tone, I thought that was classy.

Had a white Escape for a time, not a bad looking grocery getter, after retirement.

Bought a white trailer, for track duty.

Thought what the hay, play with a white Gladiator.

Except for the FUN model, the TRD PRO! Here in Canada, your colour choices for the TRD PRO are two kinds of Gray, White and Black...oooohhh...Exciting! The other models have the awesome blue and other colours, but come on, why can't more companies be like Jeep!
I saw the TRD in their green...It looked like it had every option on it. that thing was nice. Their baby blue turns my head also.

Let's also not forget that bright colors attracted higher insurance rates (as I was told in my younger years). Red and yellow cars were supposedly pulled over more often.

Speaking of getting pulled over, I asked my LEO buddy why I never see minivans get pulled over, yet they are constantly speeding. I asked if it was because it's likely a harried parent trying to get a van full of screaming kids to soccer or school, his response was: "Well..."

So what we should be asking FCA for is a Hellcat and Demon Caravan.

If we're going by the numbers, black cars should be most expensive to insure, followed by gray. Those cars statistically get in the most accidents.

The cheapest cars to insure should be yellow and white, since these cars get in somewhat fewer accidents. It's not about owner personality, it's all visibility.
