Looking to install some front spring spacers on my Rubicon, if I disconnect the front sway bar then turn the engine off, will the sway bar stay in the 'free' position? Or did the geniuses at Jeep make it reset for 'safety' or such? Thanks ?

IIRC, it stays in whatever position it was last in regardless of ignition cycling.

Should stay off until you reach the safety speed to make it reconnect or press the button.

This is also the sway bar disconnect, not the FAD.

I have a Tazer and set it to allow sway bar disconnect at anytime. When it is disconnected, and I turn off the ignition, upon restart the sway bar reconnects itself.
