With all the craziness in pricing and steep discounts in order to clear Gladi's off the lots, I'm curious what people are spending in the real world. Looking primarily for Sport S' w/ max tow but anything will be helpful.

The buyout on my lease is gonna end up being way high ($32.5k for 2021 Willy's) and am curious how much I can bring them down for a new Sport S to purchase

My Sport (not S) with max tow package, dual doors, and a few small extras was $36,670, with a sticker price of $52,920. That was in September in western Pennsylvania.

I bought a 2024 Gladiator Nighthawk for a total of $41,250 total out the door price, including the towing hitch installed, it is not a max tow, but it does have a 6,000 lb towing capacity.

We looked around all over central Florida. Wanting a Sport S, with Max Tow, power windows, auto, hardtop, without any other options. With a decent discount. We ended up with a Crystal Granite Metallic Sport S with everything except Max Tow we wanted, but also got convenience package and rear blind spot, plus adaptive cruise control. All in MSRP? $51,000+. Out the door? $36,000+, with a $15,000 discount. Salespeople everywhere said Max Tow will not be discounted more than $5,000!

What does the sticker say your payload is? Chances are only 10% of that 6,000 lbs trailer will take up more than half the official payload. In tongue weight.

I am not where my Nighthawk is at this exact moment, but let me give you a quote from the Jeep website on the specs of the Nighthawk.

https://www.jeep.com/gladiator/specs.nighthawk.html

Gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) (lbs.) 5,800
Payload (lbs.) 1,100
Towing capacity (lbs.) 6,000( Disclosure1)
Gross combined weight rating (GCWR) (lbs.) 11,150

In reality the only difference I have found difference between the way the Nighthawk is built, and a Max tow sport is is a lower output alternator, and a smaller fan on the radiator/transmission cooler.

Yea plus the rear springs, shocks a limited slip. But see where the payload says 1,100 lbs? But GVW says 5,800? Do the math and that means the Gladiator only weighs 4,700lbs empty? That’s a little light with no gas or driver! Add those two and you’ll see how low the 1,100 lbs payload gets, but Max Tow has 1,700 load rate. But on your Gladiator if you tow a 6,000 lbs trailer loaded in a safe manner with just 12% tongue weight? That means the tongue has 720 lbs, of your 1,100 lbs capacity, which means you only have 380 lbs remaining for driver, passengers and gas! Stick to a 4,000 lbs trailer will leave enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Legally and safely. Oh but I forgot about one needed extra, the 100 lbs Weight Distribution Hitch!

I know these numbers, I Bought the Nighthawk because of the empty weight, I bought it for a toad pickup that weighs less than 5k lbs to pull behind my motorhome, I doubt I will every pull anything more with it than my bay boat with it's aluminum trailer, about 3k lbs max, with me, my wife, and our dog. So it will do everything I need and want to do, on and off road, and top of all that, it is a nice truck.
