Was doing the same research with similar goals and had decided on either the new 35" Baja Boss ATs or KO2's (C Load), which I've had a couple of sets of and have loved.

Decided to get the Baja AT's through Discount Tire, and then ran across a used set of the KO2's w/ 4K miles on them cheap that same weekend, less than half price, so went that way this time... too good of a deal to pass up. Hard to beat the KO2's for all around usage.

But, I'd still go with the Baja Boss AT's if buying new just to try them out, people seem to love them and it's a great looking tire.

And can't say enough good things about my experiences with @Discount Tire

I went with the Toyo At's in 35X 11.50. Only one I could find that was within specs for the stock Mojave rims. I didn't need the 12.50"s though, not hitting anything too hard and figured the 11.50 would do a little better in the rain. Love the tires, less noise then the Falkens, though I do love the snow traction the Falkens have.

I've tried basically all the popular AT tires and am convinced the Baja Boss AT is the best there is.

They are $$$ however, so if money is an issue the Kenda RT601 is hard to beat

Goodyear tires have always treated me really well.

Goodyear Ultraterrain is what I'm currently running. I have about 17k miles on them and I'm pleased. Would buy them again based on my experience so far. They are wearing great. They are fairly inexpensive. I think they look good. They have great specs. It is a Discount Tire exclusive tire, so you won't find info on the Goodyear website.

I'm glad to hear you are liking the Goodyear Ultraterrain tires. I have been running them in the E rated version on my Ram 2500 with solid results as well. They look great on your JT.

When mine go - I'm looking at General A/Tx again. Fantastic snow tires, good on wet roads, dry roads and not loud at all. They are wearing evenly on this truck.
I had them on my 2020 for quite a while, and they've been on my 2022 for over 7,000 miles so far.

I ran Falken Rubicon take-offs for a while on my 2020 - they weren't as quiet as the Generals and maybe a little less good in our type of snow and snow pack here, but ok tires.
I watch what some of the others here have experienced and will select 1 or 2 tires others have had success with to compare my next time around so I don't just say "I like these" without once again seeing if I can do better.

I’ve been reading this thread and learning some good info. But with all things, I will never be an expert. So I’ve been planning on putting 35s on my stock rims which from what I have read, will work just fine on the rubicon without a lift. So here is my question. Will it work with an advertised 35” tire or an ACTUAL 35” tire? Which I had previously thought was the same. Foolish me. Currently has stock LT285 70R17 that measure 31.5” tall. I was looking for another 3.5”. LOL

Well they’re on!
@Discount Tire had them in stock and ready to go within 24 hours. I’ve gained about an inch over the wild peaks.
Thanks for all the input guys!
