1997 TJ. I LOVED this thing. Best manual transmission I've ever driven. Basically a perfect clutch. Drove the JT MT and immediately bought an automatic. The clutch in the JT was far too "car" like for me (although I found the shifter pleasant). My wife hated it too, but we both loved the clutch in the Wrangler. Sold it to help fund the JTR... kinda regret it some ways, but I didn't need both vehicles and I love my Gladiator.

I don’t have a picture, but I think my favorite would be our 1980 SJ we had back in the early 2000s in Arizona. Did a lot of roaming around the Huachuca mountains in that thing then drove it hauling a U-Haul trailer cross country to New Jersey when we moved to the East Coast. Spent a lot of time with it on Long Island Beach in New Jersey.

Next, again without a picture, is the 2dr XJ I bought in 1992 when I was stationed in Germany. That 4.0 with a stick was fun as hell to drive and I drove it all over Germany and adjacent countries.

Man- that’s a nice GPW, but I’m DIGGING that red corn-binder in the background! I have as big a weakness for classic IHs as I do for Jeeps. It’s a sickness with no cure.

I guess this one, my previous JKU. I have been seriously considering trying to buy it back from the guy who owns it now.

I see that picture must have taken you around 5-10 minutes to take, based on the size of that 3.8 stain... :CWL:

My buddy's 2007 JKU leaked oil like a sieve... Brand new rebuilt motor, leaked oil all over the place from the F&R main seals. He told Jasper, they said, "oh that's a 3.8L thing..."

Yeh that International is SWEET! 1968? It’s got Dana 80’s under it . Fire dept truck. We had a 1960 and older rally from Sedalia, CO down to Palmer Lake.

That's water, I had just washed it but I had a oil leak in mine but got it taken care of. It was leaking around the valve cover. I hear what your saying though, the 3.8 was a dog but I still loved it.

1982 Scrambler with AMC 304, TF 727 tranny, D300, Detroit-locked D44s with SOA (front and rear). I loved it then, but I wouldn’t go back. My Rubi JT is perfect for me now.

6 Wranglers and now my JT, but this question brings me back a bit ....

Back to High School and a 1982 CJ7, custom midnight blue paint, 3" suspension + 3" body lift, custom flat black tube steel bumpers, and big old Buckshot Mudders.

Top and doors off all summer long, 200 watt stereo with speaker boxes in the back, and Hair Metal cranked up ... even then you could still feel and hear those Buckshot Mudders.

Oops, did I shared too much ;)
