What's my Max Towing Capacity?

Can anyone tell me
how I can find out what the max towing capacity I can tow with my gladiator.

Is it listed or noted somewhere?

Your door panel won’t show the towing capacity. Just payload and some other things. Here’s mine for example.

6,000lbs is a lot but it’s definitely doable if you have the tow package (w/ auto transmission) or max tow package. Going through mountains and steep hills won’t be fun regardless though.

Which model to you have? Rubi, Sport, Mojave? Gas or diesel? If gas, then what transmission?

Note: if you have the manual then your max towing is 4,000 lbs for non Rubicon models. 4,500 lbs for manual rubicon with tow package. Not sure about the Mojave.

It's on your window sticker. The Max Tow has a lip on the fenders.

Post your window sticker OR post a picture of your fender flares. Max Tows have a very distinct lip on the edge. Like this…

Also if you have a Max Tow, your payload will be similar to mine most likely…In the 1500lbs area (or higher)

Is the 6000lb weight for this travel trailer its actual weight as is, or the dry weight?

Yes, like The Bean says - you can get a full printout of everything your truck has, standard and options, with your VIN in that web site.

This is the link I use, but either should work -

and you put your VIN after the = part - it wants all caps so use L and not l and J but not j for example.

Mine is Overland so can't have the max tow, I have the standard towing package so mine is 6,000 pound towing capacity
