Any guesses as to how many pages this will go to?
As many as can be without having clear information.
Another buyer without any information buys an expensive vehicle not knowing what they just bought?

It’s not a case of not knowing what is bought it is looking for clarification from like minded helpful people just to double check.

Yes, like The Bean says - you can get a full printout of everything your truck has, standard and options, with your VIN in that web site.

This is the link I use, but either should work -
https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=
and you put your VIN after the = part - it wants all caps so use L and not l and J but not j for example.

Mine is Overland so can't have the max tow, I have the standard towing package so mine is 6,000 pound towing capacity

“Thanks” to all for all the help

These black series look pretty cool

Are you sure about that? The fenders and the payload capacity indicate that you have the Max Tow option.

Either way, judging by how that veh is outfitted the towing and cargo capacity isn't going to be accurate anyway. Should probably hit a scale to start getting some numbers especially if looking at a Black series camper. imo.

Well, didn’t know you bought it with the Max Tow package. At least for once someone came out better than they thought.

Ya fenders and payload rating = Max Tow.

I would go weigh your rig. Google "cat scale" one should pop up around you.

If your trailer is a dry 6k, it's going to be a heavy rig to tow. I rule of thumb is to look at the gvwr (max weight allowed for the trailer) of the trailer not the dry weight.

With bigger tires, 35"? and other added items you have taken away from the payload and drivability of the rig from a tow point of view.

What trailer you buy?

We were looking at quite a few
Black series or airstream seem to be the way to go I think they will certainly hold their price in the long run.
It’s got to do a lot
(Like live in for a while when we travel)
I like the rugged of the black series but also the open views of the airstreams
Lots of research is the key

Agree with all that's said - by the time you put anything IN the trailer, put in battery(or batteries), any water, food, bedding, pots and pans, anything you put in it adds to the weight.
And take the tongue weight and that comes off the payload rating. So if your payload (for kicks) was 1500 and you have a 600 pound tongue weight, that leaves you 900 pounds payload - subtract wife, kids, dogs, etc. from that 900 and that tells you what's left to put in the back.
However, this has also been said - bigger tires and other changes subtract from your towing capacity and such so the 1500 or whatever your payload rating is - that's bone-stock FACTORY. When you start swapping parts, including tires, that number goes down.
IMO, a 6000 pound dry weight will be a bit much (you must also consider the frontal area of any trailer, not just weight)

This is the dry wt
A trailer with a dry weight of 6000lb could very easily be well over your towing capacity once it is loaded up. Batteries, water, clothes, food, dishes, bedding...and remember that the truck itself has a max payload capacity that it can carry on its axles; so you need to consider the weight of passengers, cargo, and any weight added from modifications to the jeep.

As said Id weigh your vehicle first with no trailer or anything. Unless you have exact numbers for al lthe accessories, tires, rims you added I think you'd be surprised how much more weight that has added to the model since purchase. As said that all decreases your tow rating.
