67 Designs Mount base. As far as functionality that thing is great! I preplanned and picked it up with 5 mounting balls so I’m covered for a while to mount off roady gadgets. Just need to source good quality arms and mounts for what tech I want on the trail now.

Really, just a bed cap. Any of them would do. But I do like my SmartCap.

I'll second the Diamondback bed cover.
I travel with my Gladiator, being able to lock things in the bed, out of sight, while the truck is parked lets me carry more tools, equipment and camping gear.

If it were a six foot bed, and I could easily sleep in it, I'd have bought a canopy instead.

Caulking around the rear window on the hardtop. First window replaced under warranty. The second started leaking about a year out of warranty. Caulked around it, no more leaks. Kind of makes you wonder why Jeep just didn't do this in the first place. Would have saved them a whole bunch of money.

Replacing the window is a repeatable process that returns the vehicle looking like new.

Shooting caulk into the window would be considered by a lot of buyers as a bandaid repair and unacceptable - also dependent on how neat any given tech is at injecting caulk around a window.

My hypothesis anyway.

But yea I agree, I just have vacuum tubing installed around mine. Can barely tell and it hasn't leaked again in three years.

Nothing wrong with a band aid that works. Windshields and rear windows are caulked on all vehicles. A lot of band aids out there. Tried the tubing method first. Still leaked. Been leak free since my band aid was applied.

I agree, and I think vacuum tubing method is fine on my truck. I'd caulk it, too, if I needed to and call it good.
