I usually start with my hair and face, and work my way down from there.

In terms of product, I'm pretty flexible. Generally whatever the wife buys me I'm ok with.

Looks like I need to edit my post.

I use Adams Polishes products, and do a typical 2 bucket wash.

One of those self serve pressure wash places after a particularly dusty or muddy trip, just using whatever soap it provides. It otherwise stays dirty.

I also use a pressure wash at my local, coin operated car wash. Then I use Chadwick's.

I use the gallon container of combo wash/wax sold @ Costco w/ a microfiber wash mitt. Wash off the entire car from top down to get any large debris or grit, then suds the roof, hood & trunk (if applicable, or the tonneau on my truck. Rinse well. Then wash the sides all around perimeter, rinse well.

Last is the wheels & tires with the now-dirty wash water. Probably every 3rd/4th time I wash under the hood.

After I dry it with one of those phony rubber-ish chamois I wax a panel defaulting to the hood, roof, trunk as they get the most direct Sun light. I mostly use Meguire’s cleaner/wax. My paint looks like new on all my vehicles. PS: I use a tire dressing @ each wash to finish up.

When I can, 2 bucket method with grit guards and a variety of Griot's and Dr. Beasley's products.

My quickie maintenancer lately has been Griot's Ceramic Speed Shine.

When I don't have water access or otherwise, I use a local touchless car wash. I pre-spray the wheels with wheel cleaner before rolling in, then use ceramic quick detailer and microfibers to finish and dry the vehicle afterwards. Not ideal, but it makes the best of the situation.

I had my son fly in and Ceramic Coat the Gladiator, my wife’s car ,three neighbors cars and my boat. I can wash it with a micro fiber cloth and water if I want…..or give it a 3 minute “whore bath” with Mothers or Mequires waterless wash and wax.

After mudding, simple quick pressure wash at house to remove mud. Then drive to local car wash, the one u pull up to and it runs u thru in neutral. I subbed for full wash/wax/sealer/ceramic/tire shine package, $45/month unlimited runs. It ain't pro, but Hella works. I run it every Fri and Sun.
