Definately helps. So even with a +1 offset I am looking at about 2" poke. Good to know and doable for sure. Looks great.
No problem, glad I could help! Tires are P285/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's.

Concur with everyone's inputs..... personal preference is what matters most. If you are doing any leveling or future lift - don't do it half-azz - do it....thereby, 35's is what you will likely want to consider. I regretted my TJ with 33's and a 3" lift. It never really looked right with dinky wheels.

I went with Fuel wheels on my Gladiator and they get raving compliments just about everywhere I go. I too have the white Rubi and the black/white really standout. Good luck!

OK, quick question, why is it this hard to decide on a new wheel setup? What size rim, what size tire, what offset, etc.??? It was literally easier to name our children than picking out a new wheel setup. I have information overload from looking through all the threads here, and that's made this decision even harder! haha.

I have a Bright White Overland and just want that meatier/more aggressive look. Would I regret only moving up to 33" tires on 17's? Should I go 35" tires with 18's? Should I cross over to what some consider the "dark side" and run 35" tires with 20's?

Here's what I'm working with:

I know this has been discussed over and over and over...so sorry to clutter up the forum with yet another wheel question. I just had to get that off my chest (ha).

Thanks,

Ken

We feel your pain! To be honest, as soon as I put the 35's on, I said to myself, "self....should've gone with 37's". So I skipped 37's and went with 40's! I love it!
pictured:
Stock wheels with 33's vs 35's vs
40's on 17 x 9 with a -40 offset.
How bout that bumper!

Hey I have a white overland with 20 inch hostile rage with 35’s and live the way it looks and drives but it totally up to you with what style you are looking for! Good luck either way it will look good!

I went with 33 KO2's which were Rubicon take offs on my max tow Sport S. Only about $1200 for both wheels and tires. Also added the Rubicon Fox Shocks and Springs and rock rails for about 800. Love the look, ride and performance.

I really want AEV to announce the Salta wheel for the JT... if they don’t by the time my falkens wear down, I’m going with something machined. But I’m keeping my eye on this thread for sure, lot of good looking wheels in here

I think a different way and make no excuses. I paid a lot of money for a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon simply because I love the way it looks and all the extra cool features that I will most likely never use. My idea of off roading is a trip to the beach . Why you would drive such a nice and expensive vehicle over boulders on purpose makes me think the rocks aren’t only on the ground but in your heads too. (Just kidding, I like to watch them just not for me). For me just owning and driving it to the beach is awesome enough. I’m just an old guy that retired to a beach town and does his jeep his way. 22 rims with Kanati mud tires. Sits in the garage and treated like a baby. Don’t like it ,turn your head. Do your jeep your way .

I do go off-roading in the gladiator but I’m super careful not to scratch it or drag the bottom on any rocks. I have 35” Kanati tires on my sxs which I use a little more aggressively than the Jeep
