Which Badge of Honor trails can I do on a stock JTRD

I was in a well built JKU I was with 2 XJ's and a TJ. Here is the best pic I have that shows some of the mud there. The JK experience went there so you can find some videos. Just wanted to give ya a heads up.

looks thick at the 5 oclock. but if i can drive around it that wouldnt be too bad.


Anybody ever wrap there tire with a strap then use it to winch themselves out

i can def make this bracket for 25 bucks lol. Seems like Holly hills may just be a way point for me. I dont really feel like spending 100 bucks just to do this badge!! Although for me to do marble head I would still have to buy some of the orv passes

What do you guys use for cameras for vids and stills? When I did my r66 I used my cell phone. Moab was with my go pro 5 but i dont have a mount so it was just hand holding it... not the best

While not a bade of honor has anybody done White Rim Road in Canyonlands? I think I will be doing that one as well

My dad and I did White Rim Trail in our FJ Cruisers back in the day. It was a lot of fun, but best as a 2 day thing with a camp in the middle. It can be done in one day but it would be a slog, you'd have to start super early and you would come in very late.

well if im doing it in Nov the days will even be shorter!!!!!!! Thing is I wont have any camping gear with me since Im flying to get the jeep, and Im not gonna be buying gear that I already have lol.

So I have more than a few weeks to plan my trip, but when I fly out to TN to pick up my JTRD from Gupton I want to do as many trails as I can on the way back to here in CA. While I dont mind some scrapes on my skids or rock rails I DO NOT REALLY WANT TO HAVE ANY TRAIL DAMAGE to the paint or anything like that.

Since you’ll be in TN you could hit Winrock, then on the TN/KY border hit Turkey Bay. Head up to Indiana and knock out 4 alone in Redbird RSA. I’m headed there in a few weeks since it isn’t far for me. In any case, in total that’d be like 8. (3 in Winrock, 4 in Redbird, 1 at Turkey Bay). All within a couple hundred miles of each and not really going out of the way too much

As far as a hitting them with a stock Rubi, I’d say go for it. I am (at least the ones in Redbird) and all I have is a stock Rubi suspension on my JTO no lockers etc. So you’d have a better chance than me lol.

The trails at Turkey Bay OHV area are 100% perfect for what you're describing. From Gupton, you can hit I-24 west to the Land Between the Lakes in about an hour or a little more. Turkey Bay has several trails that are perfect for stock Jeeps that don't want paint damage. There's even a trail that is sand and pea gravel that goes around the shore of Kentucky Lake. BEAUTIFUL place to snap photos. This place is a must do before you die for anybody who owns a Jeep.

Ok for those wondering there is no way you can do Panther Rock at Windrock stock without damage I got to about 300 yards to the point and had to stop as I pulled out a stuck YJ. After I pulled him out I tried going down and was teetering on 3 wheels and luckily was able to back out and I had to pull him out again as he got stuck in a mud hole. So bummed that I didnt get to take a picture on that out cropping/ Lion King/Pride rock as that would have been epic. But alas the JTRD is 2 days old and Im not trying to fuck the body up lol.

Schnebly Hill Road in Sedona. Highly worth the road trip. Hit up Death Valley, Mojave, Antelope Valley, Grand Canyon on the way, maybe Joshua Tree way back. Great great trip.
