I have a diesel Sport S also. I'm interested in the 2.5" SJ kit. What height increase did you get with the 3.5", front and rear? Has this improved your travel, presuming that you've also been suffering from poor travel and weak springs.
For the 2.5" diesel lift, SJ claims that it's a true 2.5" front, 1.5" rear, provides 2" additional travel and that the dual rate springs are 115, 165 lb/inch. Curious what your experience has been.

I had the SJ lift on my gasser and ended up replacing the entire lift. It gave me right at 3.5" in the front and 2" in the rear. I didn't love the lift but that's mostly because it wasn't what I really wanted. I ended up with 4.5" Evo springs and Metalcloak adjustable CA's all around.

Thanks for your response. Anything in particular that you didn't like? I'm trying to make some decisions but haven't heard anything specifically negative about the kit.

The only thing I'm concerned about is that mine is a diesel, which adds ~350lb to the front end. I just want to make sure the springs are stiff enough to accommodate that.
The one I'm interested in appears to be diesel-specific (and 2.5"), so it might not be a perfect comparison to yours.

Overall it was a solid lift. It was a pretty smooth ride until i added the .75" spacers in the front. The rear springs did not do very well under load and the bed sagged pretty severely.

Towing or bed loaded down with cargo? That's good to know. I'll be towing a small trailer (1200 lb) occasionally. Unfortunately, no one seems to know what the stock spring rates are, so I have nothing to compare aftermarket springs to.

The 1st pic was loaded at max payload.

I have a diesel too but I wanted the dynamic action of overloaded gas engine coil springs, and left the adjustment/ stiffening factor to heavy duty adjustable Falcon shocks and in this case I'm very happy with my Skyjacker lift.

Pic shows front 3.5" springs and back is 2" springs w ¾" Daystar spacers. Quite a bit of rake (which I like) for just a ¾" difference.

My gladiator is my work truck and during the week it has approx 300-400lbs in the bed and rides about 1½" high in back.
