I don’t have a second vehicle. My girlfriend drives a 15 year old Hyundai Elantra that she abuses the hell out of…that thing has been involved in 3 hit and runs, runs 3k miles past oil changes, original suspension, etc…still going strong at 150k miles

I love my gladiator and don’t plan to to get rid of it anytime soon. However its not the most comfortable vehicle and drive a lot during the week which cost me over $5000 in fuel last year.

I’m starting to look for a good complimentary vehicle and curious if looking to bounce ideas off of the community.

In my opinion the gladiator is:
1. Fun
2. Convertible
3. Good enough towing/utility for me
4. Okay cabin space
5. Poor cost/ fuel economy

I think a good counterpart would be:
1. Comfortable
2. Cost/ fuel efficient
3. Quality interior and infotainment (kind of in-line with “Comfortable”)
4. Easily towable as a bonus. I have a trip every year or two I’d like to bring this along on.

I only have space for 2 cars where I currently live. My DD is a 2010 Miata (in which I also run autocross and open track days with), and we are replacing my wife's daily with a 22 Gladiator currently on order.

I'm hoping that will be the perfect "fun" pair of cars. Fun on the road and fun off the road.

My other vehicle is a 2020 BMW M340i. When I want to go fast or go on longer trips, it’s the perfect counterpart/opposite to my Rubicon.

Can't go wrong with our 2016 Corolla getting high 30s mpg when cruising 80mph on the highway! Great commuter car.

Yup. Last road trip I got 38 mpg doing 80 through the mtns from Asheville to Raleigh. 2013 Sentra SR. Can’t beat that. It’s surprisingly comfortable, good handling, good looking (SR), and surprisingly big trunk and back seat.

Here's my 370Z Nismo/trackcar and my Honda VFR 25th Anniversary Edition. The Nismo is just over 600HP. The VFR has full Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes.

Nice! My wife has a ‘16 Mini copper S countryman, 6 speed. Big enough, but still tons of fun. I envy her manual, but alas, needed max tow.
