Have a gander at the KMC Roswell. Very similar (in a classic understated way) to the Analog HDs while offering 2 offset options. They are relatively cheap, well made, light and have done well so far regardless what we throw at them. Standard options are black and a nice charcoal. Had all 5 of these these powder coated to match.

Took it to FL and back to PA, then TX and back.

I couldn’t agree more. I hate most aftermarket wheels, dislike a portion of the rest, think that the remainder only look “almost“fitting on the car they sit on while a teeny fraction of those look right in general.
for me- aftermarket wheels tend to be busy, lacking fit- finish and are designed outside of a particular vehicle in mind so they don’t perfectly match most anything. They just match some things better.
My proportional wheel theory is either a simple faced 5 spoke (some sixes) or a more complex 10 spoke can work better overall. for me….It’s about the genius of geometry and whether the wheel becomes a compliment or destraction from the vehicles visual pose. The addition of logos, words, crazy anodized colors and distracting contrast of finishes make me think that the product quality suffered to make the appearance marketplace price palatable.

edit;
I do agree there’s a few quadratic options that are clean and attractive, worth a look for sure

I looked at a variety of wheel designs, colors etc. ended up with a set of Venomrex wheels in Baja Bronze.

there it is- that 5 or 10 spoke combo. Clean and refined. That’s where lots of other wheels go wrong…

I mean, when you're dropping $300+/wheel I'm definitely not picking something that looks like what I had, to each their own though.
Yea, I go back and forth between this and what the OP is saying. Going from the ugly ass silver wheels that come on a stock Sport/S trim, no contest.

But, when I dropped $60k on a Mojave, and I have these basic ass matte black wheels, it would be nice to have something that just looks *a little* nicer without dropping another $1500. The price-to-perceived gain just isn't there for me.

Quadratec's line of wheels are specifically designed to look like OEM wheels except that they are 8.5" wide.

I asked on this forum and the JL forum about if people were happy with these wheels and everyone was. At under $200 for most of them, its a deal.

I was ready to get a set of polished face Morphic wheels when they raised the price from $169 to $229. So I'm waiting a bit to see if they come down any time soon.

those are recon wheels at +11 offset? If so are you running 12.5 width tires and would you mind taking a picture down the fenders to show the poke? Cause i love those wheels (look AND price) but i'm unsure going with any less offset than 25 until I see poke photos. My goal is just the sidewalls bulging past the flares, but a hint of shoulder wouldn't kill me.

You are correct, I will take that pic when I leave work. I do have the max tow flares though, they still stick out just as much as any jeep I've ever owned.

If I could I would do a KMC machine finish bead locker. I loved the Method Double Standards machine finish on my JKUR.
