Not to be a smart a**, as that's not my intent.

But if you don't rock climb, why would you miss the front sway bar disconnect or the front locker?

I was also of the impression that the steel rear bumper & bed protectors don't come standard on the Rubicon, but are an additional cost option, though I could be mistaken on that.
Swaybar disconnected in the desert on washboard roads is yuge. Rubi does have the standard rear stuff. The front is optional.

I chose the Mojave just so I could say I own a Mojave, but pronounce the "j" as a "j" and not as an "h" everytime someone asks just to embarass my wife. Like when I order "fajitas" in a restaurant :) She really can't take me anywhere...

Rubicons are awesome but a dime a dozen. If you wanna hang with the cool kids you gotta go Mojave. ?
You can only hang so far until front lockers are needed. We'll catch you on the way back down though... =o)

Everything everyone said above...

And , the Mojave just looks so much cooler. I mean just look at how f*cking awesome they look compared to the others. LA-face with an Oakland booty.

(I drive mostly on NYC's pothole-riddled streets so its much more akin to driving on dirt roads and the dunes, so the Mojave is very much suited for sand and streets...)

First time you have your butt sucking up part of your seat because you are tooling around to fast and didn’t see that bump/ wash /log or flat bed tow truck with the bed tilted up and you land with no drama you will know why the Mojave was the right choice. ?
In my opinion, if you like with the Rubicon offers, get the JL. It’s a better fit for the Rubicon bits.

Want the best off-road gladiator? Get a Rubicon. It's undeniably the best and most capable all around off road model. Now do you need all that capability? If not then maybe the Mojave is a better fit.

There is also a strong fallacy promoted by folks that a front locker and swaybar disconnect are only for rocks. The reality is the front locker helps on any low traction situation to keep both tires digging upfront and with out pulling power including snow, sand, mud, and yes rocks. The swaybar disconnect is night and day comfort on even mildly bumpy roads, both have uses well outside "rock crawling".

Most of the posts in these threads- “Get the Gladiator trim that I got because it’s the best.”

Mojave looks better than a Rubicon, lol.

If I was a serious off-roader and rock climber, I would have gone with the Rubi. However, the Mojave is built for my purposes... beach wheeling, fast daily driving, some light towing and hunting. The suspension is fabulous as is the extra lift that you get from the factory; I have seen 37s on an unlifted Mojave. But the real reason you go with the Mojave... that ORANGE man!!!!

Does the shallower wheel make its stick out more or less? Does the 1” front being brighter make it level stock or does it still need a level kit?

"Shallower" is farther out.
Mojave needs a bit more clearance for the 2.5" shocks.
Mojave is +37 mm offset
Rubicon is +44 mm offset

It's one inch higher all around. (Correction: It's one inch higher in the front)
