No offence to you at all, but I think I’d prefer to try and realign the hinges as @DAVECS1 did before resorting to re-sealing. Perhaps your dealer checked that first before determining it was the actual windshield glass seal, but it sounds like a bit of a bandaid solution.I believe they resealed it with a liquid/gel as it took all day to dry
When I bought my JK (new), the first time I took the Freedom panels off, it was clear that the dealer had previously found they leaked and had patched it with a number of pieces of foam tape and caulking. I took it to another dealer who removed the blobs of caulk and made some other adjustments to the hinges and turn-clamps. That solved it...well...for a while. They leak a bit these days when there is heavy rain, but I’ve been too lazy to look at readjusting things.
