For a second I thought this thread had changed to "you're my boy ... Casper" but then I realize it's two bobbed JTs we're talking here. I like and use my bed too much, but it does look cool ?

Shortened bed is on, and rear ORI’s have been installed. Still need to work on bed rail covers, getting the bed lined, and finishing up the rear vinyl/lettering.

How does the diesel compare to the supercharged 6 you had in your last one?

I also really like those sliders....do you actually use them as a step or just step over them?

The Supercharged 6 was faster, but the Diesel feels more effortless(if that makes any sense.) The Diesel never feels like it's trying, where as the gas always downshifts to make power and wants to rev.

With my Jeep height I use the rock sliders as more of a hand/foot rail when getting out. Getting in I step over them and pull myself into the Jeep with the grab handle..

What a beautiful truck and amazing build. Made for great lunchbreak reading! The build reminds me of why I have loved Jeeps for 40 years, so much can be done, lots of ways of doing things and just damn cool! Thanks for sharing all your hard work here!

We removed the factory bed, chopped approx 10” from the frame and the new shortened bed is off to paint.

How is the ride and handling on the streets with the ORI's vs factory vs Kings? Just picked up a stock one just like it last week at auction for $36k. Trying to figure out my plans.
