Mine’s an E that I made street legal.

My other vehicles include a ‘71 Gladiator, which needs restored.

Other interests include refurbishing crap houses into rentals.

1973 VW. Not restored, and honestly, no plans to fully restore. Mechanically about 98% ( I need to rebuild the carb... Again). I might clear coat it one day, but I'm not going much further than that. This is my family "heirloom" (lucky me). It went from my Grandfather to my mother for a while, then back to my grandfather and then to me. I was promised it when I was about 2. It was shinier then. I need to drive it more. Mostly stock, mechanically, other than the K&n filter, because the oil bath filter was a PIA, and the exhaust, because it wanted to sing. Since those pics, I've put the bumper overriders back on the front side. Not fast, not glossy, but it runs.

No other vehicles except the wife's Honda Element. Which used to be our 4wd. Other passions. Rock climbing, mountaineering, camping in any weather, and backcountry snowboarding.

Being that where I live only has space for two vehicles, I tend to make the most of both of them. In addition to it being my DD, It has won me the STR class champion in our local autocross group a few years ago and has also been my "make it work because I don't have a truck/suv" car:

Nice color, I have a ‘67 that was my dad’s it has 32k miles, I am hoping to get it running this summer. I drove it to my house 6 years ago, need to go through the fuel system and redo the brakes. Be interested in finding out any places you have used that are good for parts, thanks for any info.
