If I may add another very key thing to do. Rinse off the undercarriage as often as possible. ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER! After a winter storm and it has cleared somewhat reasonably. Take it to a car wash or hose it down in the drive way. Yeah I know it’s like wiping after the first turd after taco Tuesday. But in the case of the under carage it helps. I worked on Navy helicopters that lived 10 feet off saltwater. Every night we had to freshwater rinse them. It saved unknown amounts of man hours is corrosion repair.
