In buyers defense, they are goofy looking until you lift and swap tires.

Pretty consistent numbers all year. Obviously, the gladiator was going to die off from the initial excitement. Lets just hope the 13-14k units a Q sold is good enough for Stellantis with sharing the parts with its cash cow wrangler.

I would be curious to see this data if there wasn’t a federally backed tax incentive.
Sales guy at a dealer earlier this year really sold the tax incentives to lease a 4XE Grand vs buying. With rates being what they are, high dollar car purchases suffer. That eases the blow a tad.

Im hoping fca sees the consistent volume drop as a direct result of the inflated prices.
And not doing anything significant with the gladiator - eg XR package, 392, or 4xe. Granted now they are offering the AEV packages, but back to your point PRICE.

I have to say that the rather brutal Gladiator price increases, and the unavailability of the diesel and manual transmission models, has had a major impact on sales. When I bought my ‘21 Rubicon, I got an acceptable deal, but now the sticker for the same equipment is 20% higher. With interest rates up, just makes it unattractive or out of reach. It’s not just Jeep or Stellantis - this is affecting pretty much all manufacturers somewhere (maybe not Toyota…). It will be interesting to see how the year ends.

I’m with you, but I also think that’s what they want: same profit, fewer costs.

Tell that to the dozens of JT owners around here on stock springs and tires. Apparently MOST buyers think they look fine. Majority don't get lifts. Bet on it.

I bet if you check the numbers, the lack of MT availability had almost no impact. Sure, those who insist on manual will believe it, but that's not a very big part of truck buyers in general. It's a niche thing.
Diesel could have had a fair impact on the numbers. I'd bet that's where a part of that is. There's enough people who tow regular and prefer the diesel for that, it probably matters.

Pacifica PHEV sales make sense because they still get the 7500 incentive due to batteries being made in the states. Buy it, get the incentive. No messing around shuffling around lease contracts, buyouts and such - buy it, get the credit. With most people buying - they'd prefer simple purchases with standard loans. So Pacifica PHEV makes total sense. Most customers don't want to mess around playing tricks to get credit.
