M.O.R.E. dead pedal installed. Didn't have tape so failed the first attempted install at dealership lot before long drive home. First blood given to the cause as well in that cramped spot. Who ever came up with the tape trick, THANK YOU!

I had a dead pedal in my jku, my whole drive home from TN I was bemoaning the fact that I didn't pre- buy one and install at the dealership. I'll have to look into the tape method as I did notice the JT has trim in that footwell.

I've installed 3 of these and it's supper easy. Remove one nut, add 2 washers, place pedal, reinstall nut. Literally that easy. You have to provide the 2 washers, but I scrounged them from my misc pile.

I also have the MORE dead pedal mounted, and when I went to adjust it back one notch, I was having difficulty "un-installing" it. I figured out that as you are tightening the nuts, the bar that holds the two bolts on the MORE bends slightly in a "U" shape and the bolts hang up on the quarter panel bracket when removing. I recommend you install it loosely and check the fit before tightening fully.

Got the new gobi home late last night from Gupton in TN.

Today added the tonneau cover that I bought months ago from @Bad324 on this forum. It was an easy install, didn't need rivnuts as others suggested here, you can reach behind the bed wall and thread on your nuts.

I didn't even remove a nut to install mine. The stud was proud of the factory nut - put on dead pedal, washer, and another nut, tighten it, done. Takes 2 minutes to install or remove and part of that is this old guy getting back up again after getting down to put the nut in place and tighten it.

I experimented a bit with the jscan idle speed feature - cool, works great.
Next time I use the winch I can set the idle speed up with my phone!

The breast meat makes decent hamburger when ground and mixed with beef fat. Not so much for burgers, but good in spaghetti sauce, chili, etc. Jalapeno bacon poppers on the grill are always winners.
