I agree. Looks like old school Nissan PatrolI don’t care for aftermarket grills… but this looks very sharp.

Yeah, probably not! HAHA!!Depends how thick it is. My wife said no for most women. You could use a strap and strap it up, but not sure that would go over well.

Did you have to correct alignment of the wheels right or left after installation of a lift?Upgraded to the MetalCloak front track bar ... phase one of replacing the front diff cover with their more beefy model.
For this install you have to grind some metal away from the frame-side mounting bracket, which is a pain when you can't find the collet for your die grinder.

I had a high school buddy that had one (ca. 1966). It had really low gears.I agree. Looks like old school Nissan Patrol

Looking at a half rack as well and that exact tent. How much higher than the roof line does it stick up?Simple thing...but put on some clamps for more camping and overlanding things.![]()

Is that for the Mopar 2" lift. I just installed that lift, and it seems the same dimensions (measurements) on both sides. I did some pretty heavy wheeling today (waterfalls, large rocks, steps) and it seems fine (Mopar lift, Kanati 315/70R17), and drove to the trailhead on the fwy at 75 mph. Just trying to see if I need to replace my OEM track bar with an adjustable. Since we're in the SW (CO and NM), I thought the requirements for off-road might be similar.Installed rear upper and lower adjustable control arms to fix the pinion angle after the lift. Ultimately so I can install the 1350 driveshaft in my garage. Also installed the armor skids for my RSE step sliders.

Yeah, me too, although not required in NM. Here are my images with the same size tires and wheel specs. Note the 4 wheel drive on the tailgate, an idea I got from you. You gotta come out west and we'll do some rock work. Wheels: Ion 715 17/9", Kanati Trail Hogs 315/70R17. I'm using 35 psi, and 18-20 psi off-road, stairs and waterfall rocks mostly.New wheels, same tires. Now I think I need some flare extensions. Either XR or EZ flares. These are 0 offset 17x8.5 KMC 544's. Tires are 315/70/17s

I’m lifted 3” in front and 4.5ish in the rear. So my pinion angle was a bit low in the rear. I was getting away with it with the stock CV driveshaft connection at the axle, but the new driveshaft I’m installing has a 1350 U joint at the axle, and the angle needed to be as close to zero as possible. This did that quite well. Now I just need to throw the drive shaft on this weekend. Is that for the Mopar 2" lift. Yeah, makes sense. With only 2" my angle seems fine. Did some stairs and waterfalls today on a nearby trail in the Sandias and it seemed fine. No binding I could feel. At 3-4" I think it would be a different story. If I get north up your way, I'll give you a jingle. I have a couple of former students at U Denver, and get up there a couple times a year. Please do, and I will as well. We’ll hit some trails. Or just talk Jeeps.Yeah, makes sense. With only 2" my angle seems fine. My first jeep since I sold my 73 CJ-5 in 1988. I paid $3400 for it new in 73. Times sure have changed. My dealer did me a good deal. MSRP was over $61,000, and I got it for $57,000 and change plus tax and license. That between 5 and 6% under MSRP, and a good price for a loaded JTR. Spent it on Mopar lift, Kanati tires, Warn winch and plate, sliders etc. Please do, and I will as well. We’ll hit some trails. Or just talk Jeeps.
