Get a mushroom plug gun kit off amazon. Ream the hole large enough to insert pump the gun and pull it will be done in about 1 minute. Also you should use rubber cement for tires so it bonds well. Clip off excess.

You can do it all without even deflating the tire much less debearing its done from the outside.

Any chance you're in the same state as me? Lol. They wouldn't touch it here. Even more telling, the other three cars that were in for patches also had to get new tires.
No sorry long way away down here in South Texas

That's squarely in the tread. Easy to fix. An interior patch would be best. But a plug is probably fine also.
AGREE.. A heavy truck shop would use a Plug Patch and you will be good.

Find a tire shop that can patch it from the inside of the tire!

Lol never hurts to ask. Falken actually is replacing it after I sent them pics. Discount Tire just grunted when I told them to call Falken. They were so set on me buying a new one and the DT warranty guilt trip.

I would think that was repairable.
I did this yesterday and a tire shop fixed it today.

I had one of those washer and everything from the job sites I drive on. Really had me wobbling and roaring on the road. Dumb me touched it too after I pulled over. Got it plugged, kept it as a spare. (Old JK)

Glad hear it worked out for you. That's a great guarantee program. Also glad I went stuck with the Falken AT3Ws when I went to 35s. heh

Are the tires Falken Wildpeak AT3W? They come with a manufacture's Road hazard warranty for two years or 2/32 tread wear whichever comes 1st. Free replacement in that time period if the tire is damaged and can't be repaired
This post exactly. Thank you for the suggestion! Unfortunately they won't let me plug and keep the old one (for obvious reasons), LOL. As of this afternoon I'll be driving on a brand new tire since I was only at 1/32nd wear.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy about it. They do confiscate the original tire (sadly) but that makes sense. I'm a very happy camper. I'm sure I could have found someone to plug it and it would have probably been perfectly fine considering where it was but at least this way there are no concerns either trailside or on the freeway going 80...
