I checked mine and no dent - yet. I went up some pretty good steps and waterfalls last week and have the Mopar lift. I'll now keep a look out for that. Do you have a lift?

Yeah I'm on a 4" Superlift Suspension and 35s. Came with extended swaybar links and a new rear trackbar so everything sits nice, just don't know how much forward/back movement happens during offcamber situations.

Well, there must be some forward/back movement. Even on the OEM/Mopar 2" lift system I have the tolerances between everything is pretty close. I noticed that re-torquing everything the other day. I had to used different sized sockets in different places, and twist my old body around in ways that haven't been experienced since I was a Marine mechanic! It would be cool (or anxiety producing) to put a camera down there when doing rock crawling. I imagine Jeep engineers might have done that during the design phase for Wrangler Rubicons, or at least I hope so.

Thanks! It took about about 6 hours total. I used one gallon and had some left over. I should have done the door sills with the left over product.

Against my better judgement, I bought my 2022 Rubicon Gladiator without the AUX switch package.

Spent most of yesterday and this morning unintentionally ham fisting the install of the MOPAR aux switch kit. Somehow broke a factory power wire (Fuse F51) for the mirror dimmer and inverter turn on circuit when feeding the aux switch harness wires through the firewall grommet. Then proceeded to miss pin the actual aux switch bank connector due to a picture typo in the instruction sheets.

Turned a 3 hour job into a 6 hour job once I un-fu*ked everything. Sorry, no pictures of the shit show.

That's the last thing I ever expected from you.
I bought my 2020 without the aux switches, and decided for the 2022 - it was getting them, no matter what.

Sadly, seeing this makes me feel just a very tiny teeny bit better about my boo-boo which isn't possible for me to fix and is going to cost a grand or better, I'm sure.,
Never work in the garage when it's 98+ degrees, the humidity nearly matches, and sweat is rolling into your eyes and making your hands and everything you touch slippery. and wet.

Completed the "easy" winch install. As you can see, the Smittybilt XRC Gen 3 just fits! Had to modify the bottom grill clips to get it on. FYI: it is a Mojave with a Rugged Ridge bumper.

N Ice! Based on the picture - looks like the 3 step would probably be the perfect size for bed access.

I would say yes 3 step definitely if you don't have a lift. Mine has the Mopar lift and 35's and the 4th step is pretty well even with the tail gate. The steps have a very secure feel while going up and down.
