Portable Deflate/Inflate System

I'm looking to purchase a portable air system to deflate and inflate the tires on my Rubicon and have been looking at the Speedflate system.

I was also going to order a portable compressor at the same time and was looking at the VIAIR 400P Portable air compressor or the VIAIR 450-P Automatic Portable air compressor.

I currently have the stock 33's on the vehicle but will likely go to 35's when it's time to get new tires.

Any thought on these selections? Are their better choices at a similar price point?

My 450P has been a beast and has never faltered once...I dont have an inflation system as I dont mind filling up one tire at a time (old school, not in a hurry).

Thanks. I think I'm going to spend the extra money and go with the assembled kit. It's roughly $70 more but it's complete. I can only imagine how many trips I would need to make to the hardware store for parts I forgot. LOL.

The Speedflate has the deflator built in but I'll keep these in mind if I elect not to go this route.

I'm thinking of going to with the 450P system. It seems to have slightly less capacity than the 400P but a longer duty cycle, which could be important in the hot Summer temps of GA and FL.

I bought the Speedflate as soon as I got my JT and love it. I store it under the passenger side rear seat. ARB on wall behind rear seat, so when I air down or up, I lay the gauge on rear floor, run hose to rear tire then front tire on each side. Reaches without problems. Then to air up I have a 2 foot coiled hose that goes into compressor coupler and to Speedflate gauge so it can remain in middle of rear floor. Used it this way 2-3 times a month for 16 months without an issue.

I am running the HF knock off and for $75- it works just fine on 35's from 15 psi up to 45 psi. It takes a few minutes per tire, gets hot to the touch, and soldiers on.
I like the portability of it and just wait for it to cool before putting it away.

For a long time I ran a ARB twin mounted in a box with jumper leads. It worked well but always took up space somewhere in the Jeep. I recently mounted it in the fender well. Doesn't take up space and it's always with me. Just my pitch for a permanent mounted solution. That VIAIR 450 looks legit though, even better than the ARB single for the price.

Which ARB compressor?

Coiled. It withdraws pretty quickly after bering extended and is completely re-coiled after about 10 minutes. I'm using the ARB twin.

I made my own Speedflate for about $100. I also use a Smittybilt 2781 that I’ve setup with Anderson connectors and also have lines running from the battery out so I don’t have to pop the hood every time I use it.
