Fortunately, I have not experienced your issues with my JT. Going on 30k miles, the Gladiator has been solidly reliable aside from the leaking rear glass that was replaced under warranty. I do sometimes long for the roominess, comfort and payload/towing capacity of a full-size truck. But I just can't kick the JT bug. There's something so unique and fun about the Gladiator that most other trucks just feel bland by comparison. I can see myself keeping this vehicle for a very long time. I may eventually get something else as a daily driver and save the Jeep for the weekend.

When I get approached by people and ask if I love my JT… I say no…. And they always have a weird look on their face. And then I say yes but the no comes from all the money I’ve spent on mods lol.

I don’t know about truck sex but this forum is definitely Jeep porn!

So I lied. After writing that I only drive the Jeep to the beach on Fridays, I went out and gave it a bath, then headed to the beach!

Because doing this to the side of any other vehicle would be ridiculous

My son bought a very nice Chevy Trail Boss crew cab right before I bought my JT Rubi diesel. I paid more for mine than he did. He is out of the country for awhile so I drive his to work once a week to keep the fluids flowing and the battery charged. I am sooo much happier with my JT. It took a few modifications to get it to where I'm happy with it but there's no other truck I would consider at this point.

So far I haven't had the issues that most have reported (knocking engine, leaking rear window, etc...), and I'm hoping that I don't. I was really assuming that after a year with the old engine (3.6) that all the other wrinkles had been worked out. I guess I'm still hoping.....
