Samson has a set of @ACE Engineering rock sliders. I really like the look and my wife really likes having a step to get into the JT!

The Ace Engineering Rock Sliders stick out about 4-inches and make a perfect step up into the JT!

I like the fact that they mount using the frame bolts not the pinch weld area. This allows me to keep the original sliders delivered with the Rubicon. Helps when I accidentally kick the rock rail and not side of the JT. Plus I just like the look. Very functional, I have slid them on rocks. Got home, a little sanding and fresh spray of Steel-It - looks good as new.

I second this one. I have these and they are absolutely amazing.
+3 for rock slide. Love mine. And they survived the rubicon trail with no issues but cosmetic stuff. Repainted and they’re good as new.

It looks like your RSE steps are very clean but I can’t help but wonder if anybody has beaten the crap out of a pair what the results would be. To my limited knowledge I know they are well built and you can buy more armor but it would interesting to see…
Mine survived the full rubicon trail. Scratches and one barely noticeable dent. No function issues whatsoever. Repainted the armor and they’re perfect again. After 3 straight days of boulders.

Just put these on.
They look good, and are not pricey. Not for serious rock crawling but there's not much of that around here anyway. My bigger concern is keeping brush, branches, and car doors off the paint, and having a nice step.

More like the other way around...Running boards that work like sliders...at least for me lol. I like a full length step as opposed to a drop step or rock rail. I like to be able to step up anywhere on the side and not just at the door. Or rock rails which you typically can't step on at all.

I have Go Rhino RB20s (Bedliner version) They recently just came out with a slim version but I don't prefer it since it's not enough to room step on in my opinion.

I've smashed mine on all kinds of things and haven't had any issues yet :)
I was even able to pivot the jeep on a rock using the driver side one.
I also really like that you have the ability to turn them off if you want, and that they have entry lights

I second all of this. I was nervous the first time I really dropped them on a rock, or pivoted off of one where there wasn’t a better option on a narrow trail. I stopped worrying after a dozen hits did nothing but scratch them.

Yes, exactly that! I'd buy again no questions asked.

You go those for a steal… I think those are a good option
I've read a couple of stories of people posting them on Facebook marketplace for only about $150 because they think they are just the regular rock rails. Something to try to keep any out for. Bam Wholesale may have them for a decent price. Seems to be the best priced resource for new mopar parts

Sure is. Trail 51 Panther Rock to be exact.
I know the exact spot haha. I just went through it a few weeks ago during Jamboree, too. Rained all morning/day, so it was extremely muddy

Yeah I got familiar with it real quick considering I got stuck. Luckily had a little help getting winched out. I went on a dry day. Even then there's so many ruts that even dry days have pools of water mud. I can only imagine it being wet.

I have the Rock Hard angled up. They are really nice, have clean lines, and can function as a step - but I would say they are definitely a rock slider first and a step second.

I know they’re popular, but I’m not a fan of the ACE Engineering ones. To me they look like an afterthought that is appended under the OEM rubicon rails - versus a direct replacement like the Rock Hard rails.
