How dose it drive with the spacer lift? I’m about to do it on my Rubicon.
It drives just like stock but the center of gravity is a bit higher since it’s lifted so can feel the difference when turning. I also had the geo correction brackets installed which helped as well.

I’d say go for it if you want to keep the stock suspension. Although I’ve only had it lifted for a couple days, it drives well.

just need to get larger tires.

The opportunity finally came to get my $85 Walmart Kenda's installed. They fit on the factory wheels and seem ok so far, though the set up is like. The tires are my belly and the wheels are my pants, enough said. The spare did fit under the bed, again a tight fit. Hopefully some great Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals to be had on some wheel upgrades.

Y'all might as well check out the Fishbone bumper and Warn winch. Installed those about 2 weeks ago. Need to install an isolation relay for the winch, not a lot to choose from in that 400 amp plus continuous duty range.

The truck is a Sport S, diesel with 1.5" Teraflex in front and .75" Daystar in the rear. I've already experienced some inner finder contact, so pretty sure a better lift is not far away either.

Put on a dedicated winter set of tires/wheels. Stock base Mojave wheels (7.5” wide) Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 255/85R17 (35x10x17).

I thought these tires on stock wheels would be just too “tucked,” but I am perfectly OK with where they sit. Especially for Michigan winters.

Also, I wanted these Mickeys from the get-go and was told by 2 Belle Tire stores and my chosen Jeep speciality shop, that they absolutely would mount them on the 8.5” wide Method wheels (mentioned/pictured) below). I think at the time (May), said tires were still on a national backorder, hence the Kendas also mentioned below.

Side note… 1” wheel spacers do not work without cutting the OEM studs & chose to NOT use them.
I have had 3 Toyotas all with their own set of 1” wheel spacers. Each one of those vehicles’s OEM wheels all worked with 1” wheel spacers.

Not the greatest of pictures and the head-on one looks worse in picture, than actual, but I am really liking this narrow tire thing. I personally (for myself) could not be more over wide/WIDE tires, but hey… we all like something different.

Dedicated summer set are Method 315 wheels that are 17x8.5” and 0 offset.
Tires are Kenda Klever R/T 35x10.5x17

Good day

Finally got tie rod, drag link, and track bar in. Ended up extending the track bar quite a bit over stock, but that seemed to be necessary to center the axle. Seems to veer slightly to the left, though. I may just have a shop do a once-over and alignment.

Dessert does it seat jacker and molle panel. I didn't find the seats to be very uncomfortable before but after feeling the difference these make, wow! I'm 6'2 and should have installed this on day one! Price always held me back but I thinks it's worth to make the cabin more comfortable.

As other people mentioned, it’s quite simple. Once I have the title in my hand I’ll just go to my credit union and they will basically hold my title and give me a car loan for it and put the $54,000 back into my account.
You won't be getting a new vehicle loan or refinancing the truck, you already own it so you'll be getting a personal loan with the truck as collateral.
They'll only loan you so much of the total current value - it's a used truck.

That should be the only real change - higher center of gravity impacting lean and cornering. Straight driving on the highway it should be very similar. The ride should be the same - the springs and shocks are the same, and the springs are compressed the same, supporting the same weight.

Modified and installed the harnesses to give me "triggers" for left turn, right turn, park and DRL lights to operate the snow plow lighting.
No factory wiring was cut in this process.

Right side harness will trigger the plow's right turn and park lights.

These will get wired to the snow plow lighting systems harness and plug into what you see above -

These are the short harnesses that allowed me to tap into the truck's wiring without cutting anything -
They had a weird non-standard soft shelled threaded fitting on the end. My fittings didn't work so I did have to replace the screw-together ends on the black leads.

On the harness for one side I had to move a lead from the red wire to the white wire. Both were set for turn and park, I needed one of them to be DRL -

I’ve actually done this before. I can indeed get a used vehicle loan. I give them the title as collateral and they provide a used car loan.

I owed less than the vehicle is worth so I am not upside down in my value. And I actually will be getting a cheaper interest rate as well.

What are folks attaching to the molle panel? I'm interested, just not sure of what I'd put there or how "useable" it would be.

Those Baja’s look amazing! Now I want some. They seem to be the most aggressive A/T’s out there, so they should be good in occasional mud. And I like pizza cutters ??
Here’s a much better picture of the two…
Mickeys on the left.

10” wide tires on 7.5” wide wheels
vs.
10.5” wide tires on 8.5” wide wheels

Oddly… you can see more of the right side (actually the outside) of the Mickey’s sidewall. Must have been the bottom of a 5 tire stack in shipping.

just about finished the wiring for the OBA. had to hook it up to test and air out the sprinklers with an approaching storm. Just need to clean it up, and mount to the molle panel. Pretty happy with it so far.
