Tailgate Fail. Can’t believe Jeep doesn’t have an embossed tailgate! I had to pull off the cheap stick ons

I’m glad they didn’t go with a bunch of alignment holes. I appreciate the smooth tail gate.

I often remove decals/badging from my trucks. This is a good reminder to start doing this with the current Gladiator!

There should be 2 alignment holes under the tailgate badge.

OP looks like there aren’t … unless it was a nice fill job or just the camera angle.

I’d prefer mine without the badge but don’t want the hassle of infilling

I believe that is the aftermarket fender flare extension. I have thought about these however, haven't pulled the trigger on a kit yet. If I'm not mistaken, they are technicallyonly designed for the wrangler, no JT kit as of yet. Most JT owners have made them work one way or another.

Yes those are mopar recon fender flare extensions, made for the wrangler. Unfortunately, if you debadge the tailgate you’ll have to get two holes filled.

If you’re interested in the fender flare extensions there is a thread on installing them. You do need to make some adjustments since they are made for the wrangler but its pretty simple

Is Vermont tough about tire poke or did you put them on to keep the sides of the Jeep cleaner? How do you like them?
