Amen! I kinda operate on the mode of "I only clean the Jeep when I get too dirty getting in and out of it" instead of an "it's dirty so I gotta clean it." Pretty much how I've treated Jeeps and pickups over the years. The sports cars got the detailing treatment, but I laugh thinking about how I got down to the smallest car I could (MX-5 NC) to make washing go faster.

My friend put new Rubi decals on her to match the rest of the theme. He also removed the 60% rear seat as I don’t own any of the strange sockets needed to do it myself. Driving to AT Summit in Prescott, AZ next week for Goose Gear seat delete installed. Yes, I could have got one much closer but then I couldn’t drive to Prescott! Going to pay my respects at the Granite Mountain Hotshot Memorial Park.

installed my overland bound badges in place of the trail rated badge and antenna mount due to the pressing in the fenders

then for the grand finally I pulled out the entire dash got the air bag removed went to install it in my leather dash………and it’s a RHD passenger panel I had never really looked at it the drivers side is the correct LHD but passenger side in incorrect so I put it all back together

Well look what I did last night........all I know is that 3M was a total cunt to get off even with a heatgun

Removed my Mopar Rubicon rock sliders and Installed RSE Gen3 Step Sliders. Installation didn't go as planned so I had to return the passenger side for fitment issues. Took me 8 hours in my garage, but saved me $750 for the install job. Overall really like the look and my wife and kids can climb in a little easier.

Plowing is great, I too enjoy it but up here we start to run out of room to push snow. Moved on to tractors now ?

I sold my last tractor a few years back. Only have the JD X739 now.
I actually enjoyed using the IH utility tractor with loader, and the 3 point snow blower and 3 point blade I had. Not much that wasn't possible. You could stack stuff high with the loader I had.
I miss operating the equipment - sometimes I feel like doing what my retired neighbor does - work for area farmers when they need help. He's a former county employee - in the winter, a plow operator. I think he enjoyed it.

Anywho - waiting for the sun to start going down so I can aim the snow plow headlights. I tried but they just don't show up in the day time. I have my neighbor's shop door taped where the lights need to shine. Either it's too bright outside, or these halogen plow lights will be disappointing.

I finally got through all the posts. Bought my glad about 2 months ago, and have been upgrading it like crazy with all the comments and recommendations I've found here. I want to stop but keep finding new things to do. Today I'm doing the seat jackers, this weekend the headliners and winch hopefully. Thanks to everyone who has given me inspiration for things to do, I've never enjoyed doing things to my vehicle as much as this Jeep...I should have been an owner a LONG time ago.

I spent too much time researching this component. I liked this the best b/c of winch, light bar, etc. I did drill a 3/8” hole just behind the left side (facing the Jeep) right behind the bull bar, so that I could feed the wiring down and out of sight. I didn’t like the posted pics that had it dropping straight down from the light. I moved my existing halogen fog light down, and replaced them with LED bulbs.

I tried VIPMotoz brand of these lights as they were half the price, but couldn’t get them working. They ended up being crappy about the return and refused to accept it, so I was out $130 on that one, do not recommend buying from them. I ended up going with these and they worked great:

This was my most expensive upgrade, but I really love it. I had manual roll-up tonneaus on past pickups, and this is just a whole ‘nother level. I ‘m not a fan of the lost space in an already smaller bed, but the storage up front is great for all recovery gear, and it really works great. I chose to have the installation done so that I get the lifetime warranty, and was told this stays with the vehicle, if sold.

I’ve seen the stretched door netting on all my friends Jeeps over the years, and never thought that was a good option, especially as they got so stretched down they would get caught in the door when closing (even better when the water bottles would hand so low they would get smashed in the door). This seemed like a great fix and so far they have worked well. I bought the front ones also, but haven’t decided if I want to drill and put them in there, especially since they are only partial on the door.

Thanks - my Garmin GPS is an antique - but worth looking into. Wireless would be great. nice if I could have it in place only when needed that way.

I have a Garmin bc35 camera for my Garmin tablet. I haven't tried it out yet, but you can give it a shot if you want. I would expect that there are other tablet compatible wireless cameras out there.
