Installed some Rancho diff skids today. These things are built like a tank. 1/4" thick and really nice solid welds. I read several negative reviews about the front u bolt not fitting and I can see why the negative comments. I was able to make it fit but it took some patience and a bottle jack. The threaded ends are pretty short so it required starting the nuts without washers then using the bottle jack to push the skid against the diff while installing the washers. The real problem is the rear mounting tabs don't follow the angles of the diff ribs. Easily remedied with a little tweeking in a vice prior to installing. Anyway, I can recommend them if anyone is looking for solid skids that are affordable.
