When I went to 0 offset, I lost some highway mpgs too. Now I get worse mpg on the highway than in the city
Yeah these things are all over the place with how the MPGs can be affected. A slight change can make a significant difference.

I don’t mind the poke actually. Can always take them off if I hate it after a while.
As far as mpgs go, doesn’t bother me much. Difference between 16 and 17mpg is about $2.60 per fill up for me.

Yeah I'm fan of the poke as well. Just throwing out some data, but yeah I'm the same way, if I like how it rides and drives, I'll pay for the gas.

Keep in mind there’s only 1 place on the internet I’ve found that approves running a 12.5 tire on a 7.5 wide wheel and it’s not the manufacturer.

this has probably been asked a million times. But what would running an 8.5 wheel matter as far as rubbing goes etc?

I get that some people say its dangerous to run 12.5 on a 7.5 blah blah blah but I'm not talking about that

Do the 8.5 wheels move the tire out much? AEV do an 8.5 with the same offset as the OEM. Which I guess would give me the same issue?

This will help a lot: https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

A 12.5 tire will relax a bit more on the wider rims. You'll get a bit more inside and out than you did with everything else being the same on the 7.5". In addition to the obvious 1/2" inside and out.

If it's rubbing already and you increase rim width without pushing the rim center out it'll just rub more.

Stock JLUR that’s an inch lower in the front from added weight and I only slightly rub when the wheel is really stuffed up there.
