Well… I said I was not going to do it, but I threw them on anyway. I have them so…

Let me preface this with I have had 3 different sets of 1” wheel spacers on 3 different Toyota vehicles and their OEM wheels. No issues at all and a lot… A LOT of miles on all three.

Knowing I was going to put 10” wide tires on base Mojave wheels, that are merely 7.5” wide and a 37.7mm offset (winter dedicated)… I dId not look forward to the overly tucked look. Well, 1” wheel spacers do NOT work with base Mojave wheels. Not without cutting the wheel studs and that is not something I was willing to do. I ended up swapping them for 1.5”, figuring 1.25” would possibly not be enough [either].

Now, it looks nearly identical at to my summer dedicated set of 10.5” wide tires on 0 offset wheels. Yes, “pizza cutters” are far more my style… nowadays.

Happy with the look. Not exactly the greatest idea with winter and Michigan’s road salt practices, but… RockBlokz and full top plate rock sliders!

“Fashion over function” I never say… now that I am 50. Hah!

??

Still going. Looked sketchy for a minute there. There was a BIG CHANGEOVER a few years ago. TENS of MILLIONS!
I work out of Flint, MI. (since 2010). Prior to that Pontiac, MI. Jack Cooper took over for for E&L Trans./PTS/Leaseway - Whatever name they were at the end) when they went under in 2007. I hired in with E&L out of Woodhaven, MI. (for Pontiac, MI.) in September 1998.

Old late 90’s E&L/PTS/Leaseway photos…

Do either of you find this to be at all noisy?!? I have not installed mine, well… because winter, but thought I might hear it and it will drive me crazy. My radio is never ever on…

¯\_(❛︣ ͜ʖ ❛᷅)_/¯
Due to a local storm that I did not think to avoid, I drove my gladiator for seven hours straight yesterday. Never once did I hear the hitch skid that I’m aware of.

Installed my Tyger trifold bed cover.

For $250 hell of a value. Is the fit and finish 100%.....hell no. BUT I'm an actual realistic person, yes. I feel I got a great, easy to install solution for the money I spent. And for what I spent......I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. It's not like anyone really spends anytime look at the bed cover when it comes to Gladiators anyways. Form and functionality....both blocks checked.

Fun couple hours while hanging with kiddo in the driveway this afternoon handing me wrenches and sockets.... finally got around to installing the 2.5" spacer lift along with a set of Mojave springs on the front of my Willys. Not going to lie, the silver-colored shocks make me smile. Rear's going in tomorrow, so full pics then ;)

Exact reason for my “weird ask.”
?

Washboard dirt roads are annoying AF!
?

Well, I heard it today!!

I was going a pretty good speed to hit the hump transition from the street/sidewalk to my driveway. I heard it clank twice. Once on each set of tires hitting the hump.

I'm going to cut up some kydex and shim it out.

First oil change!!!

Also sorted out and tested my cheapo air setup. It worked, after I had popped the checkvalve chucks and ditched the dumb o-rings they put on the NPT females. Blue loctite and good to go!!!

Tires were 32 cold, pumped them to the door, 37 psi. May improve my gas mileage a smidge. Which would be cool. Im a smiles per gallon guy, but I always test new vehicles to see what I can get under optimal conditons/super conservation driving habits, so I can look back when im getting 10mpg and know it is all me and the mods, lmfao!
