Great thread with lots of good info, thanks all. I have a question:

Future planning for my Mojave include winch/OEM steel bumpers/RSI cap, moderate payload (3-400 lbs plus 2 passengers), and towing a small overland trailer, ~3000lb loaded, ~210-250lb tongue weight.

I'm thinking the new Fabtech 2" lift kit would be good for this? It sounds like a lot for just airbags in the rear is all. Also when not trailering I'll often be hanging a dirtbike hauler off the rear. Truck is already riding on 315/70 ko2s c-rated, and the ride quality is excellent...I'd hate to lose that as a daily driver.
Hey I have a Mojave and have the alucab topper. I also pull an expedition trailer. I just ordered timbrens ses system. It works a bit different from airbags but same concept. I’ll let u know how they work

I hadn't heard of the Timbren SES system, looks promising! Did you get just the rear or front/rear?

I went rear only. I don’t want to lose the hydro bump stops up front. I figured 120lbs squatted me .5 inches in the rear, my front bumper I am going with (rugged ridge arcus) only adds like 20 pounds to the front from factory. (I am pretty sure that’s true, bunch of posts on here about that bumper) and I’ll add a winch down the road, but I’ll be right at or under 120 in front so not to worried about weight there

I use ”bottom out” and “top out” interchangeably, so just be discerning which is which.

edit- here, this is from Fox that has a modeling of what we are talking about.
Thanks for schooling us newbs. Saved me a lot of time and $ trying to figure it out on my own.

I’ll definitely be looking forward to hearing about their performance. I’m setting up my Mojave with a smart cap and rtt for overlanding as well but I also use it to pull a 12’ inclosed tool trailer for my decorative concrete business about twice a month. This thread is a goldmine for me as this is my first Jeep and first build.

Using max tow rear springs would work. They’re actually a good progressive spring. Better than any other model or trim.
I picked up some max tow springs and ordered the airlift 1000 and will get it installed Wednesday. I’m excited to find out how they work for me. Right now I tow a tandem axle enclosed trailer for my business about once a week and my Mojave squats pretty bad. I also intend on getting an rsi cap and rtt and setting up for some over landing so I’m doing both the springs and airbags at the same time to save on labor (I don’t have my own garage). I’ll definitely post my results.

Well it feels like I gave the white rabbit a sex change. Much more truckish ride. I like it, but I miss the soft and more subtle feel of the Mojave rear springs. Overall, I think it’s going to be perfect for loading up. I’m pulling my trailer later today so I’ll update after that.

Wonder if an after market coil would work better. ?? Maybe the guys @Metalcloak have an option that would work? Keep the ride, but handle the load?

I went with the airlift bags for my setup, which is very similar except a rubicon so my springs may be different to start with (I should know this i guess... oh well). I have absolutely loved the bags. I keep 5psi in them normally and don't know they are there. I ran about 10 in them with my rooftop tent on and it made all the difference in the world. No sag, waay less lean when driving. I highly recommend them if yours is a daily driver with the occasional tent on the back. That way you don't have to give up the "mojave" soft ride.

Hey I am putting an utility trailer a few times a week during summer (got air bags for squat)

I am looking to keep my fox suspension, and thinking about max tow stiffer coil springs to get that stiffer ride quality wether I am towing or not towing.

can you give some 1 year follow up review on your max tow spring upgrade?
Thanks

I am sorry ... based off of some older posts, I believe that White Rabbit has passed
