Timing is everything. Last May I sold my 2020 Sport S Gladiator (Gator) to CarMax. It had 20k miles on it, stock, and I got a little more than the original MSRP.
I bought a beater Dodge Dakota because I knew I'd need a truck and more fuel efficient car as I was going to return to working in an office.
The "fuel efficient car" ended up being a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe, one of the first 2023s on the lot.
Then I noticed the used Gladiators were not pulling the prices they used to. Ended up grabbing a used 2020 Gladiator Overland (Stingray) with more equipment, roughly the same miles, for a bit less than I sold the Sport for. I probably could have waited, and prices may have gotten even softer, but I'm glad to be back in a Gladiator again. Even if the OEM battery sucks (it did and was the first thing I changed) and it has the aluminum steering box (with slop).
