It looks loose to me. My stock one doesn't move.
I am going to try and fastened the pitman arm 41mm to steering box today before installing the metal cloak brace first.

Looks loose to me and too much space (yellow) and not enough thread exposed (red)

If you haven't found a 42 mm socket, a 1-11/16 works fine and is much easier to find.

Sunex 254D, 1/2 Inch Drive, 1-11/16" Deep Impact Socket, Cr-Mo Alloy Steel, Radius Corner Design, Chamfered Openings, Dual Size Markings, Meets ANSI Standards https://a.co/d/6fqx97W

I got a torque wrench on it with an extension. You should take the trackbar out to allow you to get to the Pitman arm nut better.
Metalcloak tells you to do that in the instructions.

I dropped pitman arm, a bunch of corrosion and flat teeth ridges.Replacement pitman bolt came with lactate, which original did not- added additional red loctite and did 185ft pounds, boom back to solid firm and sharp.
Replaced pitman arm + pitman arm nut

I am now on the fence of re ordering metal cloak sector for assurance- what’s your opinion?

The brace won't hurt and will add support, but it's not absolutely necessary.
Glad you finally got it firmed up!

I've thought about their sector shaft brace as well. When you get it back together, have someone turn the wheel (engine running) while you look between the frame and the gearbox. I bet you will see the gearbox lift just slightly (like a hair thickness) of of the frame. Mine does anyway. It's a tad concerning.

@Lunentucker ya know when your going over pot holes and the jeep thuds, someone told me getting extended away end links will help smooth the rough bumps. with a stock height mojave/gladiator trim is that possible with out lifting?

There are 2 major flaws to the Synergy drag link i wished that i knew.

1. The single plane joint is at the pitman arm vs knuckle like factory and it doesn't have the guide pin through the bar. This caused the bar to droop when undo the clamp bolt. Making fine adjustment pita

2. The advertised anti flop single plane joint has way more rotational play than oem.

That I don't know. I've always assumed the "thud" is the Mojave suspension doing what is supposed to do.

I don’t see how extended sway bar links could affect thuds at all unless they made it worse as the swaybar would be angled too far up.

So due to that flop, when it flips after being level it doesn’t re position and causes unresponsive steering

I am going to tie a bungy around it w just enough slack to rebound and loop bungy around sway bar?

im going to go through process of elimination

The flop is within the single plane joint, it doesn't causes unresponsive or off center steering wheel. It's just annoying. Just makes sure to tighten the clamp bolts with the bar in the drooped down position and the bend pointing forward. And also making sure the ball joint at the knuckle are square with the knuckle, as it can rub on the dust boot.
