The best hitch will be the one each of us has , I think figure out what you want and what rate the bars are for. I wanted a Blue Ox Sway Pro, and had called and checked with factory that I would need 500 pound bars. Found a like new one with 1000 pound bars $150, and got a set of 500 pound bars for $50. Very happy works for me. Others will say Andersen, Curt, Reese and others they all work, I just bought 34 ft 9,000 lb camper for a permanent site at a marina in Delaware and the guy gave me the hitch for it. Towed it with an f-250 it had solid bars that rode on a metal brace that used friction, it worked but was very loud, and backing in tight seemed to need to be taken off. Research a bit it is more important that you get one not as much as the best because they all basically work. Check out marketplace also a learning experience!…Jack

Towed this 16 ft enclosed trailer well over 1000 miles from Seattle to Atascadero, CA last June. I had it weighed, 4500 lbs. Totally stock 2020 JTR. Trailer had a weight distributing hitch. NOTHING done to the truck. I bought rear air bags for the trip but ran out time to install them.

Not even a slight problem of any kind.

Pretty pricey for as small as it is but it worked flawlessly. I doubt I'll ever use it again though. My 22 ft. wake board boat trailer has surge brakes and I don't intend to tow anything with electric brakes again! Anyone wants to buy it second hand I'll make you a deal on it!

Is it actually plug and play? My dealer told me it had to be programmed.

Plug and play I did my 21 Mojave no problem, most work was getting 12v outlet out….Jack

i’ll second the cutt echo as an easy brake, controller fuse. I also recently installed the Mopar brake controller but I needed a computer flash for mine to work. That’s probably because I have a very early 2020 model year gladiator.

As far as weight distribution hitchs go. The four point hitch by equalizer is by far the best one I’ve ever had. I’ve had three now, and won’t be switching away from this four-point. I get no sway at all with regular wind. And only very minimal movement with high sustained winds or gusts. And I don’t get pulled when a tractor-trailer drives by me. I should have gotten this one first, but the cost made me look in other directions which ultimately ended up costing me more money in the long run
