Here you go! I dont have my factory connectors to compare and all my broken oracle lights are at the house. But this should get you in the ball park.

Also where are you getting the tail light assy? and would you be willing to just sell the panels themselves with no lights?

Excellent! Thank you!

I was buying them from:

kemimoto UTV Chase LED Tail Light, Chase Brake Light Bar with 5 Modes(Strobe, Courtesy, Reverse, Running, & Brake) Compatible with Polaris RZR Ranger Can Am Maverick X3-1.75'' to 2" Roll Bar https://a.co/d/2MsgbIw

Yes, I could sell just the shroud with inserts, foam liner so it doesn't scratch your truck, and bolts with washers.

I think that price would be around $150

Right now the cost for a pair of tail lights cost me around $175 to make.

That's with out my time of doing anything. Like soldering up the wires, sanding, painting......

Production wise I would like to be able to produce 4 lights a day. Which would be 2 sets of lights.

If I sell a pair at $350, I'm not making much lol. But I wouldn't mind doing it as a side gig while I work my normal day job.

So while I'm at work, I would have the shrouds printing. Come home, install lights, solder up pig tails and be good to go.

So at the moment that is my plan of action.
I will speak for myself, BUT I'm more then willing to pay $400 for a quality set of lights.

I wouldn't need paint or prep because I will do that myself. So that should save you a ton of labor.

Anyone who still has their factory tail lights in,

Can you test to see if the side marker corner lights have blinker function too or just on constantly....
Constant on for the halogens

I know from experience......(hard pill to swallow) maybe consider taking deposits for the cost of materials up front to protect yourself. Not telling you what to do, but merely a recommendation.

I've done Big brake kits before and after all of my tooling and hardware, 90% of the people flaked out on me. Granted the Jeep family has a tendency to be a wee bit more honest and true to their words

This would help you rack and stack the orders.......I'm off my step stool now LOL

Thank you, that saves me a wiring nightmare lol.

Otherwise I would have to run a resister to the side markers for when the running lights are on to reduce their voltage making them dimmer and let the blinker go with out a resister to give them full voltage brightness while blinker is activated.

I completely understand this and really appreciate your input.

Plan is to get about 2 sets out to people as beta testers. Then do a list with deposits.

It's weird how they did it, just a single LED it seems that just gets a wire from the running light. Come to think of it, our jeeps have zero function to alert drivers to one side or the other that we're turning, unless you have the High Altitude model w/ the mirror blinker.

Edit to add: I guess it's not weird, but annoying that they placed a side marker light with no further function besides being in an "on" state.

Well I used to work for Florida DOT and I approve of them :)

On a serious note, when I produce the trailer tail light version, or the other versions they will all have DOT approved inserted lights.

The combat offroads gunner tail lights, their side markers blink with blinkers. They wired like I said I would have to, if it was a requirement....

I can still do this if it makes everyone happier , but will require more testing.

I would say no. If they're wired that way from factory, no need to add more wires and make it more complex.

So the lights I'm currently using, have a strobe function. Right now I have the strobe wire hooked up to the reverse lights to get peoples attention when backing up.

What are some ideas that others might want with the strobe function?

I'm assuming some might want the strobe to happen upon putting on your brake lights ......

Tazer has a function to make the 3rd brake light strobe a set amount of times (0-20) as well as speeds (fast, medium, slow, up (strobes slow ->fast) down (strobes fas -> slow) and random)

It would be cool to get the strobes in sync to do a quick few flashes like an ambulance does.
