I have read a bunch of posts about the stock 110v being modified sine wave that doesn't work with an EcoFlow type battery. I want to do something to be able to use the 110v outlets. Can the stock inverter be replaced (where is it)? Is there a "modified to pure converter" or adapter? I've searched the web and found a couple DIY converter solutions, but I'm not comfortable with that. Any ideas?

The factory inverter is under the driver side knee bolster under the dash.

No idea about changing to to pure sine wave but I am interested. I also just got an Ecoflow battery for the truck fridge. I plan to just use the 12 volt outlet or USB C to charge the Ecoflow.

I think you're going to have a lot more hassle than it's worth to try and swap out the factory unit with an after market just to be able to use the factory plugs. Pure sine inverters are plentiful but they're not going to be setup to use that plug easily.

I planned to put the fridge and battery in the bed. I guess I could hook up a 12v outlet back there. Dumb question, where/what is a knee bolster?

I figured that. Everything under the dash is so tight!! Thanks

The panel under the steering column right in front of where you knees would be. It is real tight under there where the inverter is placed.

I am also planning on wiring up an Amazon 12 volt outlet panel in the bed and using the Ecoflow when not running the truck. I do plenty of longer trail ride and can just charge the Ecoflow off of the 12 volt in the truck.

I've had trouble charging my Ecoflow river pro a few times with the 110 outlet. . I now only use 12v.
