Installed Magnaflow cat back street exhaust today. Much quieter than expected. Instead of sounding like a sewing machine not it sounds like a angry sewing machine.

Finally finished installing my Adventure Rack System Backbak and Overcab rack from Metal Cloak. Had a few moments installing that had me wanting to throw drill bits across the city, but it all worked out. Really solid feeling. I was working solo for most of it and need to center the upper bars a tad, but ill wait till i have a 2nd set of hands. Gotta same up for some storage boxes for my next hunting trip.

I meant the rear winch.. doesn’t seem like there’s much room either underneath by hitch tubing or on top of bumper.
Ah. Good question.

Well after the Fox ATS mount issue and waiting on a new mount, I also had the drag link to replace.

Thought it was an easy install but for reaching the nut on top of the pitman arm to torque to spec. Swapped for a Steer Smarts Yeti XD.

Removed the rear seats and installed the Cargo Dog storage deck. Even though I had a DirtyDog dog hammock, with 4 big dogs, I wanted the ability to haul 2 in the bed under the ARE cap and 2 in the back seat. The hammock worked relatively well but only held 1 dog. Now, 2 dogs can travel in the cab. Removing the seats was simple but more time consuming and knuckle chomping than I would have guessed. The E14 bolts that tie the seats to the body must have beaucoup thread locker and you can’t get an impact gun to most of them.
Once installed, when I tried to connect power for the internal compartment lights, I realized I had not received the power cord adapter. Called Cargo Dog, spoke with Mike and he said he’d put one in the mail immediately. Went back out to pick up my tools from the driveway as the mail was being delivered. Guess what was in the mailbox, a power cord adapter from Cargo Dog. Called Mike to tell him not to send an adapter but he already had shipped the item. Great customer service. Ideally, the adapter ought to have been included with original delivery that came the previous day.
Installation was simple. Connecting the lights to power was a breeze. The center compartment has power outlets, although I can’t envision using them. Although I live and work where I don’t lock my house and rarely lock my truck, it’s good to know my recovery gear and other items can be locked in the individual compartments.
Truthfully, I think it’s too expensive for what you get. Right now, I’ve got more money than sense and am very happy with the purchase.

Check out their griffin attenuator. It replaces the middle section of the drag link. It’s night and day with bumps. I now have my middle section as a trail spare.

I will definitely check it out. Test drove this and feels like a real improvement over my stock and unfortunately worn DL. Already less reactive over bumps and seems to firm up steering some. Not a hard core off roader, this is a daily - for now.
