For those that may have missed it, Mopar Insiders says that the unveiling of the 2024 Gladiator should be in September, and will likely go into production in November. A Gladiator 4xe IS expected to replace the diesel.

It is expected that the 2024 model will say farewell to the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 in favor of the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system similar to the Wrangler 4xe. You can expect that system to adopt the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine integrated with two electric motors and a 400-volt battery pack, giving the Gladiator somewhere around 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque combined.

On the 2024 Wrangler High Altitude models, there is a new exclusive Mantis Green interior color on the instrument panel mid bolster and Nappa leather seats, which we expect this camouflage to cover up.

The Gladiator is expected to receive a new dash design similar to the Wrangler, featuring a 12.3-inch widescreen infotainment display. Running on Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 system, the touchscreen will likely offer standard wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, ensuring seamless connectivity for occupants.

According to our sources, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator production is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 27th, 2023, at the Toledo Assembly Complex. We expect to see the updated Gladiator officially debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, scheduled in September.

And it's hard not to get excited, but I'm reading that article and it's just speculation, speculation, speculation.
You're not wrong... but Mopar Insiders gets a lot of stuff right in my experience.

Wouldn't be surprised if it does for gladiators. They don't even have enough of the new grilles to swap over the sport and sport s wranglers until late this year so i'm assuming they're trying to use up the parts bin and shore up supply

The 4XE will be available IN PLACE OF the diesel. No way it's a direct replacement =o)...
I don’t think a 4xe gladiator will sell well in Texas. The dealership I’m using has at least 20 Wrangler 4xe’s on the lot. Just 2 normal Wranglers. The sales manager said that they can’t sell the 4xe’s even with heavy discounts (he tried unsuccessfully to lease me one at $9K below sticker and $7,500 In federal tax credits). He also said that for 2024, the 4xe Wranglers are going to be special order only as Jeep won’t be shipping them any..

The sales manager said that they can’t sell the 4xe’s even with heavy discounts (he tried unsuccessfully to lease me one at $9K below sticker and $7,500 In federal tax credits). That's interesting considering that the Wrangler 4xe is was the top selling plug in hybrid in 2022. It must have a much stronger market elsewhere in the US.

Production to start right after thanksgiving, is there any truth to a car being made on a Monday having more problems than other days of the week? If so, the Monday after thanksgiving could be even worse. :CWL:

I have to agree. There are 107 Wrangler 4XE's available on dealer lots within a 50 mile radius from me with a price tag in the mid $60k range. Taking a spin through dealer sites, there are huge discounts and incentives on these units and there not going anywhere.

I’m not saying that I disagree with that statement, just saying a 4xe Gladiator won’t sell very well In Texas. But, I could be wrong.

I see a lot of 4xe up here. The baby diesels don't seem to sell at all, I think I've only ever seen a handful and the dealers don't really stock them.

Any thoughts on what the max tow rating of the 4xe would be? The GC 4xe is 6000 pounds I believe.
