I got the opportunity to drive a Rivian R1T for a few days, thought I'd share some photos comparing it in size to my Mojave. Keep in mind I am on an AEV lift (but stock 33" All Terrains).

Although I have thoughts on it so far, probably not going to go into depth much about that unless asked since there is already an multiple page thread somewhere on hear about the Rivian.

Photos are taken at various heights (Standard, Offroad, Sport)

Standard

Offroad (Highest)

Sport (Lowest)

Some side shots for size. They are VERY similar front/back if going from bumper to bumper, although the body itself extends out more on the R1T (flush to bumper).

OK, I'll ask. What are your personal opinions of each vehicle? Would you stick with the Jeep? Why or why not?

I‘d be interested in your thoughts as well. What kind of “mileage” did you get?

It looks a lot bigger next to a JT than I would've thought. When I drone one, I felt like the hood was very long and wide but it didn't feel much bigger on the road which seems to be corroborated by the front to back length photos you took. I'd take an electric JT over an electric Rivian but I do like the Rivian. The inside is really nice.

Love the story behind Rivian and the truck is cool as heck. The use of space is something I wish jeep and other truck manufacturers would take note of. I watched a guy on youtube do a towing test that was impressive and how well the truck dead. But also very disappointing when it came to the battery life and how effective it was. If these things didn’t take so long to charge and didn’t have such a massive upfront cost, I would really consider it.

Though the front always reminds me of the thinking machine and sidekick robot from the movie hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.

My brother in-law and I were just talking about these. He has a Tesla and said charging is not an issue! We both agreed going off road will be a much different story. He likes the look of my Mojave. I agree, the JT just looks better to me. This battery stuff is coming fast.

Nice technology, ugly as hell and wait until you have to get body work done.

I've always liked the Rivian. I was surprised how wide it was seeing it next to the jt.
