Couldn't resist... I'll see myself out.No way this won’t be totaled - if they give you any trouble your back could start hurting and need attention.
if it doesn’t hurt already ……..
I was hit last summer, and I had the same thought when my insurance company said I had to file a claim with the other guys insurance company. he had insurance but the very basic legal minimum. In the end my insurance came through and I got my truck fixed with a couple upgrades thrown in. total damage was about $20k. it wasn't totaled with that much in damages. I'm in CA too. ymmvI was rear ended some years ago by a driver with a suspended license that had the same insurance company as this one and they were very dismissive and indifferent. Our insurance said we are to file a claim with the other insurance company. What the hell do we pay our agent for? Monday will be an interesting day. This is not something I’m looking forward to.
Adventure trips you say? Looks like you just got the start of a matching adventure trailer. I know that doesn't make it any easier to take the loss, but maybe it's a little hope for making something good come out of the wreck.I feel your pain. I had my 2022 Gobi wrecked by a red light runner last Saturday. Thankfully my kids and I are all healthy and walked away with only minor bumps and bruises. My Doctor did find some whiplash in me. Please ensure you are checked out as well if in a accident. Sadly the driver that hit me, had no insurance, and listed a homeless shelter as his address. My insurance is good, however awaiting word on what they will do. Regardless I have been totally bummed out this week. Especially knowing that Gobi tan is no longer offered on new models. I only had 9300 miles on it, and only 11 months. Had two more adventure trips planned in August which are now cancelled.

Hi,Yikes, sorry to hear about your truck. I could definitely see insurance totaling it out.. Looks like your probably in the start of Yucca based off your picture I'm sure the dealer up there would let a new one go for a fair price they've got tons of them there right now.
From the accidents reports I've seen on here, thankfully, the gladiators have held up well all considered. Certainly, gives you an idea of the ultimate strength of the frame and what you would like to expect from a body on frame truck.I can’t believe the bolts that attach to the bed didn’t snap. That’s a testament to their strength. The bumper and tow bar took the major brunt of the impact. I tried looking at the back of the cab and cannot see where they made contact with each other. I really have to hand it to Jeep and their ability to keep the occupants safe. I have lower back, neck, and head pain. I was violently thrown forward and back into the seat.
If it is totaled I don’t know what other truck I’d be interested in. It seems like every maker has taken the grab handles off the ceiling above the driver and passenger windows and there is no reasonable way to add them like we can in our Jeeps.
I'm in DHS so just down the hill from you but I'm in Yucca, 29, JT at least once a week.Hi,
Are you in Yucca as well?
