I am about to pick these up for $250. I really wanted oem or the elite max, but I am trying to soften the blow and meet halfway. We have a 1 year old and a new home as well. Bottom line, I’d like to know if these “Oracle oculus Bi-led with white halo” are a good compromise for the time being $250. They were used for a month or so. But I don’t know that for sure.

I’ve been dealing with these dull flashlights for the last month and it’s driving me crazy. As of now, I have factory led tail lights, opt 7 tailgate triple led bar, oracle oculus fog lights with halo, and changed running lights and signal to led bulbs. Headlights are the last thing I need. So I’m itching to RIP those halogens out ASAP ?

If you're coming from OEM Halogens, then yes, anything is better. I've had OEM halogen, Oracle and now Diode Dynamic Elite Max's... The DD's are truly phenomenal and worth it once your budget allows. If you can wait to save up for the DD's then "buy once, cry once" applies here :)

I definitely want to diode dynamic, just hard to justify the cost at the moment. Might be six months to a year before I can get them. Do you think these oracles are worth 250?

I second the led bulb swap. I did both headlights and fog lights. Been very happy with mine for over 2 years and the light cutoff is excellent. Don’t get any angry flashes at night unless I’m pulling my trailer, but I think that would happen with just about any headlight aside from the 1980s halogens due to squat

I think they're worth it, but it's also worth noting that in the winter you'll get snow buildup over the headlights. Halogen headlights put out heat which naturally melts any snow buildup. LEDs don't do the same, so the snow builds up. Kind of a problem with any LED headlights on our Jeeps. Oracle released these lights with a heater circuit on the lens to deal with that issue. These don't have the heater on them, so they won't get hot enough to melt the snow. You'll be hopping out every now and then to clear out snow from the headlight recess.

I currently have LED bulbs in the factory Halogen housings, and while it's better than stock, it leaves a LOT to be desired. I'm looking to upgrade to proper LED headlights when my budget allows. I'd jump on these if I didn't spend time in the winter months in the Midwest.

if you're looking for a compromise between elite max and cheapies, just grab the regular elites on sale. Think i got mine for $680.

You could put a set of these in there for now.

I have a set in my Gladiator and will be putting another set in the wife's Wrangler before long.

I also picked up some used oracles for about the same price and was satisfied with the upgrade over the halogens. After I sold my sport and bought a rubicon with factory leds I prefer the mopar leds over the oracles. Mopar leds are whiter and don't have that blue tint like oracles. I also think they are made better with what looks like a big heatsink on the back of the headlight.

I say go for it. I'd rather have oracles than led bulbs in halogen housings. If you could get mopar leds for about the same price though I'd try to get those.

How did you get them on sale for that price?
I ended up getting the oculus for 200 bucks. Even if I bought the diode dynamics in a couple months, I’m sure I would still be able to recoup some of the money and they aren’t a half bad headlight.

I am thoroughly pleased with my Oracle Oculus headlights. Ran halogen housings with Seatech LED bulbs for a year prior to the switch. Oracles are worth it in terms of both performance and appearance, IMO.

I’ve had ZERO issues with my Oracle Oculus headlights and they’ve been in my Gladiator for over 2yrs. I would definitely buy them again, especially at that price.

I just installed the Oracle Occulus Switchbacks this week and I'm very happy with the lights. My only rub with them is that if I want the halo's lit up during the day, without the headlights, I have to turn the light switch on manually to the running light position. The halos aren't powered independently without the headlight on or running light switched on. I'm not sure why Oracle didn't tap the DRL in thier harness to get around this. I've seen people in other places have said the same thing so it's not just me. Oracles response is "turn the running lights on if you want daytime halo's". Just a minor inconvenience but worth mentioning if anyone is considering these as a replacement.
