That would mean a redesign of the rear section to make it at least 2 piece to fit. That would probably take up the whole bed at that point.

Yep, these dealerships really are predatory and disgraceful. The posted online price means nothing. You show up and they have $2k in BS adds and obscene APR’s, even for those with great credit. They don’t want us normal folks owning anything anymore; just leasing or extending payments. We really need to put a stop to that.

Yeah, I paid $4K for the diesel. I didn’t think I’d break even in fuel saving or anything. I just preferred that powertrain. I don’t think 5K for the V8 is too unreasonable in todays dollars. When I look at more fair comparison than my initial post, and price out an JLRX with the 315 tires, the V8 isn’t still $20k more. That’s crazy. It’s novelty pricing. It should have a Demon engine for that. Feels a bit like a slap in the face to diehard Jeep people. Like they’re saying “this isn’t for you. This is for influencers and YouTube.”

LX3 swap and done. The GM LTx motor have a smaller foot print in the engine bay....better for cooling and serviceability.

I can write a check for whatever I want but I am not going to get rolled. I am not in a hurry. Not going to pay $35K for a v8 v8 swap.
As far as color the only thing I want over white would be a real deep candy apple red. I can mod and play with my 22 for a long time. Tires, gears, and lots of other stuff. Not sure a hybrid would be the way to go.

I believe they have already tested it on the Sideburn EJS Concept. Look at the lower section of this top, and compare it to the patent drawings.

I wish the Gladiator had a 4 piece freedom top. I never take the back off because it’s a pain and the f you ever get caught in the rain you’re screwed.
